I agree he should go, but not sure whether he should be replaced, or whether Nathan Jones should be a manager as well as head coach, and be more involved in the recruitment, reporting to Jim Rodwell.

And if so, how is the scouting going to work?

Is Jones's priority working with the players we currently have or building a squad? How did it work at Luton when they were in their ascendency? How did it work when we had Bowyer and Gallen?

For those wanting a bit of positivity, I’d recommend listening to Charlton live today. Lots of chat about Jones with one member of the podcast being particularly glowing of him and seeming to know him quite well.

Sorry to piss on everyone's chips but I would hazard a guess that Scott was being escorted to the East Stand area where Nathan Jones was watching the game from in one of the boxes. At least that's what the pictures of him showed.

That said teh fact that Scott needs security to escort him over there tells us everything we need to know about the guy.

as you can see I sit in the last row by the box and just before kickoff in a box that always has lights on in a  darkened room i turned around to see scott, methven, dangerfield and jones and a few others in there one chatting alot to Jones maybe his agent/friend

scott looked nervous and stressed throughout with no smiles or even much chat with the incoming manager/coach slowly people around us during the game started to realise they was in there aswell
half time and full time they turned the lights on and closes the blinds 

not many smiles and all looked very serious 

Leaving we walked up and along the walkway outside the box and 2 security were protecting the door they obvs wanted to keep a low profile being in there and not the directors box
