If they do atke over then the only thing I would change would be Andy Scott's involvement as it hasn't exactlly been overwhelming.
That said there will be far more availablity during the summer than there was during the January window.
First thing they need to do though is mutually terminate Aneke's contract. I think that would be in the best interests of everyone.

I thought Scott with all his contacts would be bringing in some real gems but apart from Hector the rest were pretty poor signings The only mitigating factor was that TS was still pulling the strings budget wise during this time I think If I was a new ambitious owner I would be looking at the likes of Plymouth’s or Boltons head of recruitment and looking at getting this type of professional recruitment person into the club

I would like to see us make a bid for Northampton's Sam Hoskins. Scored the goal that won them promotion today and he's the kind of player that we are lacking.

I'm not just being taken in by the screamer he scored at the Valley, but Stockton on a free would be decent IMHO. Even if he wouldn't be a nailed starter,he's proven he'll bag at this level.

I think taht would be in the best interests of everyone. Back in January there was no budget for permanent signings and the Methven Group were acting as SMT without actually owning the club. My observation at the time was that they brought in Holden and sold / loaned out a large number of players who weren't going to feature in the 2nd half of the season. In other words a step forwards by reducing the wage budget as well as commencing a clear out ready for this summer/ next season. Therefore it's hard to judge Scott's ability to recruit permanent players until he has a good opportunity to shape things.

Reading Arron Henry on social media sounds very much like he staying 😞. Sounds like Innis and Morgan are staying as well 😞 Stockton yes as he is free and scores at this level plus Sandgaard will still be the owner and that’s what he will be shopping for freebies.

Reading Aaron Henry on social media sounds very much like he staying He's been quite disappointing to me whenever I've watched him play. Loan next season for me. Unless he somehow steps up over the summer and pre-season to be a squad player. If we want to aim for promotion (not play-offs) then he's not the answer.

Probably the best dead-ball player we have but the last thing we need is a passenger. He's a quater-back in his playstyle but not strong enough to boss that role.

Gives us some perspective for next season. In comparison, we kept 9 cleansheets this year.

Aaron Henry needs to trim a couple of seconds off his decision making time. He does not have the time on the ball he thinks.

Joe Piggott transfer listed by Ipswich Ali Al-Hamadi from AFCW a better option. Both would cost a fee.

WTF….. these players have shown over a course of z as season that they are not good enough and yet we look like we are resigning them Henry has potential I agree has potential and should be going out on a season loan to a div 2 club Morgan is league two standard and Innis is not what is required if we want to be challenging for playoffs… we need a captain and a leader panting alongside Hector if possible If these re signings happen it will confirm that we are just rinse and repeating from the last few summers and going no where What is the definition of madness?

What we need is some money to introduce a bit of quality ( more than a bit ). Exactly…. We are going no where unless we start bringing in quality players from leagues above and not what we have been doing which is bringing in players from leagues below…..But we need new ownership and new funding to do this Whilst all this poker game is going on with the sale of the club all the best available players will be snapped up as per Ladapo early last summer and we will be up the shitter yet again with our recruitment

Have to agree don’t think Holden did him any favours few weeks back playing with Dobson .. but Sunday was his chance he was tidy a far better passer of the ball then Dobson just not sure he going to put Dobson under pressure enough , or any better then Mcgrandles

Think his role (should he keep one) would be to spray passes from the middle to build up play, knowing Dobbo is there behind him to clean up any mistakes. Not sure we have a player exactly like him but if Fraser is pushing forward, the question is, will we have a strong enough defence to make the odd mistake trying to make those passes.

We looked wide open when a very poor Cheltenham side attacked us…..We need better players in the middle of the park to compliment Fraser who can put tackles in, track runners and take control of games and unfortunately Henry and Morgan don’t fall into that category …… I will say it again until I am really boring…. We need better players

We need better players I do agree with you there. We seem to have been prioritising passing or getting stuck in, there are players capable of doing both but they come at a premium which is hopefully where the JF consortium come in. A midfield general would be a lovely way to kick off transfer business.

We need better players Naturally we need better players to join the club. In midfield Holden utilised Dobson and Fraser throughout. But Morgan, Payne and the rest not good enough to hold down a first team place in what was the tenth best side in the League. In defence at kast we have a settled, decent keeper and I would retain Clare, Hector and Inniss then add quality. Up front Leaburn and Campbell have surfaced from the Academy but Rak-Sakyi has gone, probably to the Championship. We absolutely require quality up front and that costs, or perhaps more gems from the Academy and/or more decent loans?

We need better players It's already boring (not you Auckland) because we all knew that we needed to bring in better players in the summer of 2021, and in January 2022, and the summer of 2022 and in January 2023. I can accept that some of our more average players might be ok as squad fillers but I would have to draw the line at Inniss and Morgan, with Henry going out on loan. Any more of the average players hanging around and there will not be enough places in the squad the the number of netter players we need - never mind the budget we are going to have to find.

I don't think he thinks like a full back, isn't suitable as one of two centre halves and is clearly not fancied (by any of the managers we've had) in midfield. Is he a Curbishley type utility player in your mind? I'm not sure he is going to contribute much over a season for a side that is going to finish top six and I suspect that he is on decent wages. We signed him from Oxford for a fee and he, already, had two years on his contract where he was.

I wish someone would give Clare another run in midfield. I think he can put in a tackle, carries the ball well, and can shoot. He reminds me of a poor man's Joe Aribo.
I feel a bit sorry for him that he's been cosigned to do a job for us at right back, which isn't his natural position.
