TS and Adkins really should be looking at the successful loans that have occurred over the season at other clubs and none more so than at Lincoln. Not sure what their financial situation is like but I would raid the club for a couple of their own too, those being Jorge Grant and their big CB Leis Montsma who has been immense for them in the heart of defence. Back to their loans though and they had four or five last season, all from Premier League clubs and all played their part. I'll start with Brennan Johnson, who ended up with 11 goals and 13 assists from an Attacking midfielder/winger position. Then there is Tottenham defender Timothy Eyoma who will train with the first team squad over the summer following an impressive season at Lincoln. Their most disappointing loan ironically was Morgan Rogers, a £4m highly rated striker from Man City who only managed six goals. Finally between the sticks was Alex Palmer, borrowed from WBA. My shout is Eyoma and Johnson on loan 100% while I would also make bids for Montsma, Hopper or Grant. Scully also scores plenty of goals, 11 last season too. A bit like Scott Fraser and a few others I have touted down the years, they always end up with us sooner or later!! |
