Which means no LB or striker then?? Sadly this may be our undoing this season but I am not going to waste my time repeating what I've been saying for months. Just waiting for the glass half full / rose tinted glasses brigade to reassure us its all ok, that they are happy & that we will be signing a few out of contract players later this week because TS is God and they are attempting to build a new forum of the back of this one. They know who they are and none of you are welcome on here any longer. |

I am starting to get really uncomfortable that the position we have needed cover, the most, all summer, is the position that the son of the chap that chooses the players we sign plays in. I thought Roddy was the weakest player on show in red this evening. I think he isn’t good enough to be in our squad, and it’s difficult to believe that it’s just a coincidence that the ‘Boss’s son’ seems to be the alternative to signing a player that it seems so obvious that we need! |

No idea what Lavelle is like, but he comes with a lot of games under his belt for a 24 year old, and wasn't he their captain?
Johnathon Leko is a strange one, don't really class him as a striker, so do we really need another winger? Personally, I only thought he was ok the first time around and he's had a serious injury since. Not convinced he is what we need!

Failing to sign a LB and striker is piss poor. When will this club ever learn? Not under an owner who is influenced by Ged Roddy, that's for sure.

If DJ and/or Kirk are out for a couple of weeks we would have a kid playing on the wing. Leko might not go straight into the starting eleven but we need cover for a long season. |
