Manager was the first thing that caught my eye too. If Andy Scott isn’t getting the tin tac, I think it at least shows a shift in responsibility - maybe one of the hurdles Reams alluded to?

It was slightly tongue in cheek but if he don’t keep us up he won’t be here in June. I’m very wary of the delay in signing this contract which suggests to me it contains lots of walk away clauses. Besides even a year a cafc manager is a long time time |

So pleased to see Nathan finally arrive. I think it's a great appointment and proves any lingering doubts, (for me anyway) that money does actually exist. He wouldn't have come here if there if it hadn't. The 500k for Nombe was the same money bid for Collins six months later, via JCH and Will Goodwin, so until it's spent you do start to wonder that it exists in the first place! Nathan is a passionate Cardiff City fan, he calls them his beloved Cardiff City! He was an apprentice at Ninian Park and worked on teh turmstiles on match days even after they let him go in 1991 a month before my Dad arrived at the club. In this article it mentions Damon Searle and Nathan Blake who made the breakthrough and not only became big names in my Dad's side there but later went on to become my drinking buddies on the Cardiff night life scene!! Reams this has been bugging me for a while if we would have just paid the money out got these in different season.,instead same story crocks and loans does make you wonder on the willingness to part with it .never thought in a million years would be happy with a manager because he might save us from the 4th division

Feel confident with this one; he was seen as a Premiership manager by clubs too, but for whatever reason, it didn't work out. He seems to have a bit of tactical nous about him, where under Appleton, I wondered what they did in training.

Hopefully he will be given the backing in the summer to build a team that can actually challenge for promotion and bring back the feelgood factor.
The Valley at times has seemed soulless this season.
