I think it will be Warnock or Allardyce on a short term contract until the close season just to keep us up and then recruit a new manager to get the whole of next season including the summer window.
I've nothing to go on, I am not ITK but I have a feeling the new owners know that relegation would be an absolute disaster!

Too risky to appoint Fleming we can’t get this one wrong I think it’s got to be Rowett or jones if we want to really improve and progress.

It doesn't matter who the next manager is really. Until we get rid of Andy Scott whoever comes in is just going to get lumbered with the same old rubbish who don't even come close to the elite eight. Most would struggle to make the cut for the next eight - the top half of L1 standard players.

Surely the owners will realise Scott is useless

Agreed, he’s surely gotta be on thin ice. Should have gone with Appleton

Agreed, he’s surely gotta be on thin ice. Should have gone with Appleton So you’d have left us with no manager and no director of football during a limited transfer window??? I’d have limited his input re the selection of a new coach and binned him after the window

Ah I see, drag it out beyond the closure of the transfer window! Don't see the point of that given he's already got the job 😆 Just announce it fellas! Couple of loan players he wants have already been put forward!

Couple of loan players he wants have already been put forward! Maybe they are not getting the signings they wanted so they need an excuse 😜 This would be a good move if it happens. I know you're saying it's already done but I can't tell if thats a tongue in cheek comment. If this is done there is no reason to delay anything.

I hope NJ takes the job.
IF he comes in and we do go down(HOPEFULLY NOT!),we have to stay the course and let someone build. This chop and change culture hasn't worked.
We all crave success I know, but if a step backwards is involved on the journey then so be it.

Does Nathan satisfy the "Charlton connection" check box? He worked with the u18-u21's for a year. Is that enough?
I would've preferred Duff, but assume he has other options. Nathan needs to turn his career back around so it could work out for both of us. I'd rather not consider the alternative.

If we were some club out in the middle of nowhere like an MK Dons then yeah probably would work. I think if we went to League Two it could very well be the end of us - can't sustain a 28k seater stadium, top notch academy facilities on a 7,000 gate (assuming we get that many).

20th in League One is enough to make it clear we need a rebuild whilst narrowly staying up, which may end up being only because one of the teams that finished below us got a points deduction.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think there's just about enough quality and fight in these players to stay up, so long as we don't appoint another complete wally as a manager.

Darren Moore sacked by Huddersfield He’s a very poor manager IMO. A figment of a section of the football media’s imagination.

Totally agree. Andy Scott - Free is supposedly our Technical Director 🙄 It’s a job title that will excite the Clipboard Clive’s, but at this level you need your costliest assets on the pitch IMO. Worry about the frilly stuff in the Championship, where the guaranteed income streams are better.
