Lennon or Johnson no thanks both are frauds and shouldn’t be let anywhere near our club and even talking to these two is very worrying and shows a unbelievable lack of football knowledge and panic in making a choice of our next manager.

Regardless of one's views on Bowyer, if he was reappointed then it would prove Methven and his 'SMT' have literally no long-term plan whatsoever but are just the latest chancers to own the club (or in their case dupe some rich Americans to do so on their behalf). Completely agree. For what it’s worth, I think there is a plan and hence why I believe there’s zero chance of Bowyer returning!! Could well be wrong obviously. Yes, Scott needs to recruit a manager best placed to deliver with the squad already in place, AND coach / develop Academy graduates. Ideally an understanding of modern football analytics too but unclear whether that's essential where we are today? This is a significant opportunity to prove to investors and fans alike that the football strategy is sound, and that tangible progress is visible to all by the end of the next window January 2024. There's really no room for nostalgia in this process, pessimistic or otherwise. Fans will be won over through better performances and results, not how many appearances for CAFC back in the day. On the other hand, the club does need to fill the vacancy with somebody who can put "fires out" and deliver a fast turnaround. The average tenure is just over 12 months so perhaps the club simply needs someone qualified to deliver this season. |

Mark Hudson not exactly got a lot of experience or any decent record to date as either Huddersfield caretaker or Cardiff manager. I'd be happy with Danny Cowley though. I still quite like the idea of Chris Moore, but that name isn't even appearing now. New manager announced on transfer deadline day, targets missed due to unforeseen circumstances. ;-) |

You can't just talk to a manager anymore without a league legal team being in on the conversation. If you are caught its tapping up, even if the manager is out of work.
