Suppose the big decision is whether to look at a young quality coach in tier 3 or 4 who will play a modern style or an experienced manager whose got the T-shirt and done it all before …. Palace have gone back to Uncle Roy who sets up a tough to beat team but is far from sexy footy. Darren Moore would sort out our defensive issues and would command respect of the squad, SMT and fans alike. But would he Scotty P or other quality coaches want to come in? I would have preferred the young quality coach approach myself, but after Jacko, Garner and Holden maybe I'm wrong. Would love Darren Moore to come, but would he be getting more attractive offers? Scotty would be great, but the fan base would be split again! Just the thought of him coming out to a mixed reception...... |

I’d love Lee back there’s a romance with him here for me I think he’s a great man got us in he’s blood he works well under a budget he’s got unfinished business here. That day at Wembley a few years ago was amazing he was a big part of that.

Regardless of one's views on Bowyer, if he was reappointed then it would prove Methven and his 'SMT' have literally no long-term plan whatsoever but are just the latest chancers to own the club (or in their case dupe some rich Americans to do so on their behalf).

I think it's pretty clear from what we've heard so far that there's no plan. They've approached Ferguson, Powell and apparently Lennon from what we've heard so far - all totally different figures.
