I'm hearing Neil Lennon's name being mentioned. Had talks this afternoon I've just been told, not this evening. He is in London because he is on the Sky Sports panel tonight. |

If Neil lennon gets the job, what an utter shambles. Can’t stand the man, from supposedly the managers spoken to and planned, it’s very clear the scatter gun thesis is not working.

NEIL LENNON has thrown his hat into the ring for the Hibs job and a second spell in Edinburgh.
The former Celtic, Hibs and Bolton boss has been touted for a return to Easter Road spell after Lee Johnson was axed yesterday

If we were the other side of the transfer window I'd 100% agree with this. Not give it to him permanently (yet) but to allow time to make the right decision or allow Pearce to earn it. I'm panicking about signings at this rate, won't lie. Felt a little better before Holden sacking but now not so much. Hasten to add, doesn't mean I want Lennon or Johnson. |

Regardless of one's views on Bowyer, if he was reappointed then it would prove Methven and his 'SMT' have literally no long-term plan whatsoever but are just the latest chancers to own the club (or in their case dupe some rich Americans to do so on their behalf). Completely agree. For what it’s worth, I think there is a plan and hence why I believe there’s zero chance of Bowyer returning!! Could well be wrong obviously. |

A new month and fresh start. Think it's very hard to say when the right candidate will be selected and then negotiations about pay and back room staff conclude. Let's say they have a short list already. That might change slightly this week? But it's gonna be a couple of weeks before the new management team are in place. With Slade it was very different because KR had just been sacked at MK Dons. And we know that Bows and Jackson were promoted in-house. Adkins wasn't working and Garner recruited over the summer. Not ITK so no ideas on candidates but would have faith in any manager who has secured promotion before. But those people might not fit with the SE7 / Scott strategy. |
