Today was solely down to him with a little help from another poor ref who missed a red card and the pen in the 98 min .. but Holden got it wrong badly today . First he not addressed the main issue in this team there no point spending 800,000 to 1 mill on a striker if we don’t get the ball into the box !! CBT again today how many chances did he have to get the ball into the box , and failed except for one guess what we scored .. … he had a shocker
Did he not see what we saw PV playing 5/6 across mid completely outnumbered us ( to lose Fraser and Camara is ridiculous luck )…. Even at half time just change the system to 352 and give Dobson Taylor and Anderson a chance ..
But the worst bit of management today was concerning the young full back Asiimwe.. the kid looked knacked after about 35 mins clearly should have been withdrawn at HT but no and guess who made the howler for the third just clear it kick it off don’t try and bring it down .. he did not have legs to get back .. DH took him off far too late DH … Anderson the same had a poor game looked very light weight .
Yes losing Leaburn Fraser Camara is massive and with these think we would have won all 4 games .
But DH got it so badly wrong today it’s a worry sure the new owners need to make sure he is the man to take us up before they bring his players in

I was very disappointed with Holden handling of Asiimwe yesterday , he looked tired on Tuesday and had an in and out game to be fair , yesterday he should have been rested , again made lots of poor passes, bad judgement and looked shattered as early as 38 mins , he should have been replaced by DH at HT .. to bring him back out he was a mistake waiting to happen unfortunately it did and cost us at least a point .. I just thought it was very poor management we could see it so why can’t the bench ?
DH been unlucky with injuries this early in the season but if we can get them out the way now when there still so much time then fine rather now then say February and we are battling for promotion ..

On the Oxford match thread, there were comparisons to Adkins. Can't say I disagree with them.
Holden doesn't know the best formation, most of the players are ill-disciplined, which is leading to these late goals being conceded. Yet with the transfer window just one week from closing, a new manager would have little to no chance of turning things around. We are in the brown stuff!

People on the other place debating who should replace Holden if we're equi-woeful against Fleetwood.
As I posted a while back, the person who will takeover from Holden (unless there's a huge turnaround) post Sept 2nd isn't an external candidate.
Andy Scott has four times the managerial experience of Holden, has (unlike Dean) got a team promoted, can't use the excuse of it being someone else's squad (he signed half of them) and won't cost an additional wage.
Andy Scott was always going to be the next Charlton manager. I just didn't expect it to be so quick. Monday/Tuesday week (Sept 4th/5th) is my prediction.

He isn't going anywhere, his thier man and they will stick with him.
A decent manager would of taken the draw today after the run we have been on, not throw caution to the wind and send everyone up front. It wasn't as if we was opening them up time and time again in the second half, we were still quite shit to be honest.
Personally I blame the new SMT for starting the season woefully short in all departments in the squad, they were here last Xmas and after that they must of been watching us closely. They knew how Holden wanted to set up the team and they have all failed miserably, even if Leaburn and Fraser were back we'd still be far short from a top 8 team imo.
The whole thing has been so unprofessional it stinks the Valley out.
