Sorry but haven’t we learnt the lesson of signing league two players last summer? In my opinion none of are any good. We need to be looking up the leagues for signings. Or at very least players that were shit hot last season. May nor this lad that’s gone to Oxford are the answer. Like reams said a player like Collins is more of what we need.

I have no love of CM, and there is a lot evidence in that documentary to slate him with, but if you're going to dig him out do it accurately. On the wider perspective, I'm happy that CM appears to have pulled together a decent consortium. I'm hoping it's a long term plan, similar to Ipswich and Plymouth, and an end to the nonsense we've had to endure under Danish Brent. And grateful to Reams or holding it together and not sharing everything too early, even though he was probably bursting to do it. |

Maybe these new owners coming in are not worth as much as some are saying .owners can not put in more then £13m a season.A May maybe all we can afford? Then free and loan signings on top. If owners cant put more than 13m in a season surely that aids to the assumption that its the EFL thats the problem? Not at the potential new owners not having enough £ ?! Odd take this one. you forgot about that multi million pound sponsorship deal we signed😉 |

I don’t really care about resale value if May scores 20-25 goals next season , if Rodrigues is as good as people are going on why’s he going to Oxford lol. Why is May at Cheltenham? Don't see many Championship sides coming in for him and if we go up just how effective will he be at the higher level? Potentially we could end up paying a player £1m+ (fee & wages) who is a L1 striker who we might need to replace in 12 months time because he isn't good enough for the step up. It's all well and good plucking names out of the air to apease fans because he's scored 20 goals during the previous season. These things have to be thought out. Didn't Cole Stockton do the same at Morecambe not too long ago? No real rush for his services either really. |

As you say Will Grigg was a disater for them but instead of feeling sorry for themselves they took the hit and didn't make the same mistake again when they signed Ross Stewart from Ross County. Of course Sunderland fans being what they were at the time didn't let CM & Donald forget the Grigg nightmare while refusing to credit them for the Stewart arrival. |

Just hope we splash out this summer rather than signing Gallens bargain buys |

Lyle Taylor didn’t get Wimbledon out of the league but he did help us get promoted in his first season with us I think that season had as much to do with Cullen and Bielik as it did Taylor. May IF he comes in won't have anything near that much quality around him. We'll have a go to replicate it im sure but they were one off loan signings. And Bauer... And Aribo, Dijksteel etc. Gonna take more than this window to arrive but worth posting this to remind us how it's done: Point being is that it's gonna take 16 decent players. Right now we might have around eight including two keepers. Open to debate for sure, but ideally we are far closer come September. |

You don't always have to spend big on players as there are plenty out of contract footballers who will cost decent wages only all because they are free agents. There is huge difference to that terminology and free tansfers. |
