You reckon that would mean the end of Scott Fraser at CAFC then? His numbers weren’t too bad from last season but still don’t seem to do enough.

Scott Banks is a right winger by trade so different positions. There is Scottish interest in Fraser but it's not a case of Banks in Fraser out. They do look similar players - I like how excited people are about this banks 🤞 The one thing I’d say about May is, maybe leaburn will benefit a great deal by playing with a 20 goal a season striker, learning from Him… I get we need younger players but when you already have a 19 year old in that position maybe the smart move is to help him grow as much as you can - whilst getting 20 Goals from his partner I’d be excited if we get both may and banks |

Can’t see Banks coming in today/tomorrow!? Palace haven’t announced their retained list yet and I expect Banks will get a new deal.

I view the opening of the window with some trepidation simply because most of the recent windows have been poor, disappointing to say the least. As I see it we’ve the same recruitment team (with the addition of Holden), is little Martin and his black box still involved, and the owner remains until the EFL approve the takeover. So what’s different? Storrie says the budget has increased which on the face of it is good, but by how much?
Are the new owners providing funds? Have I missed that?
Hopefully my doubts are groundless and the next days and weeks will be the start of new beginnings for CAFC. It will also be interesting to see what will happen to the likes of Kirk etc.
Intriguing times.

I do think this will be a good signing and show of intent from us (being one of the top goal scorers last season. Although I'd rather have Colby Bishop). Hopefully this signing will help entice other targets who will see the team we are looking to build. Gain a bit of momentum. |

It will br a good signing statistically in terms of what he has done over the last two seasons. However like I keep saying if he joins us he will arrive with a relatively short term expiry date and I would prefer if we looked at somebodylike Langstaff who is of similar stature and three or four years younger. |

I don’t mind the odd 29 year old personally, but it can’t be our entire transfer policy. You need experienced players in their prime but with some youth in there too. We have some youth already in Ness, Henry and Leaburn - a few prime players wouldn’t go amiss.

Have you been told this today or was it reported the other day? It's Dean who wants him no matter who the owner is. Heard that a week to ten days ago. Was told about the medical this morning which is later on this week so obviously he's not having that for nothing. Could sign on the same day if he gets a clean bill of health or early next week. |

Remember he had Innes and TT alongside him for much of the games he played for us … he will be just fine if he signs and Ness is back to full fitness! |
