I always enjoyed seeing him play, not saying he has been a great player, but in my view a great character. Best wishes for whatever the future brings Darren. Will be remembered for his goal v Donny in the play off semi final.. |

There are many reasons that we never got promoted, and the penalty misses are just two of them.
You might just as well blame the defence for the late goal conceded against Crewe, that lost us two points.

There's too many to single out and we play as a team. One or two mistakes are fine, many more than that there's an issue in concentration that's why some get grilled and some don't but agree Schwartz penalty wasn't even bad, just a good height for the keeper - clearly a lack of confidence to not go top bins. |

Stockley also missed a pen .... may have missed one penalty but scored 6 with his nut and one the conventional way ..... so your point is? Pretty clear .. really that one pen miss was not the reason we went down .. why not blame the ref’s for the mistakes this season... |

So did Washington v Gillingham but they both contributed several goals this season.
My point about Schwartz missed pen was that it was practically the
last kick of the game and Oxford got in the play-offs on better
goal difference than us. I know Akin Famewo made an unfortunate error
with a back pass, but he is still greatly in credit in my opinion.
Unfortunately Ronnie hasn't done much to impress me. If Dick is
correct and he is going so be it. If he does stay hope I'm wrong about him!

Dicky said that we have been linked with a Danish player, and that’s the player we have been linked with on social media today. I have never heard of him, although he plays in an area that we need strengthening. I would assume it’s come via Sandgaard’s Danish scouting sources ? |

You would have to say think that this is pretty unlikely. Surely you don’t jump from 300 k for Ronnie, to 5 m for any player.
For five million, we could buy at least five decent players, and we certainly need more than that.

I’m sure that he will be in demand as a player coach in Div 1 or 2 as he has a great attitude snd is an ideal role model for youngsters learning the game. |
