To be fair he not going to come out and say yes we are signing him ... when the club are clearly trying to sort out a deal .. I'd say 'we're interested, but too early to say' would be more accurate if we were chasing him. It would also fend off competition if he was a legitimate target of ours. |

Serious money needs to be spent over the next 3 months , team needs to be fit and ready from day 1 of the season !
Only time will tell if TS has the minerals now to put his hard earned where his mouth is , no more guitar solos , we want and need serious players !

Spot on Dick and I would sign them both, Colby Bishop and Dion Charles. My four strikers next season would be: Stockley Mullin Charles Bishop Do we need four strikers if we are only going to play one up top most of the time. I would like us to move for Charles he can come to feet or run in behind. |

Looking forward to seeing some younger faster players come in, who can play with energy and enthusiasm.
NA will know what style he wants to play, and maybe some of the players to play it.
I’ve seen some really good players in League One this season, albeit only a couple of times on the live streams, home and away.
I liked Shodipo at Oxford, Sorinola at MKDons, obviously Fraser too. Owen Dale of Crewe gave us plentiful problems.
I’m sure we had a couple of lists of targets drawn up ready, for putting into action, when the season was finished.
It will be nice to have a proper transfer window this Summer.

I can’t remember the figure but I’m sure I’m others will update. £39m over three years rings a ding dong 😉 |

In practice, therefore, there is no limit on spending. |

I saw the Hull pair doing the rounds on Twitter. I'd take both of them. Amos hasn't done too much wrong and made some good saves this season so wouldn't be upset if he stayed.

You'd have thought the fact Stockley came out so publically to say how much he wants to be here then for Adkins to give nothing back... If he was interested it would be the perfect opportunity to put off other suitors, something along the lines of 'we're interested but no deal yet' kind of thing. I really hope it comes off he'd be a handful in this league for sure with the right support and delivery - both set pieces and open play. Let's hope PNE play ball with the fee after the amount of targets they've taken from us, and big Pat Bauer. |

I suspect that Stockley is earning more than we would want to pay - especially if the rumours of what Bauer was offered are true. I doubt that Stockley will be keen to take a pay cut so unless Preston are, literally, going to pay us to take him he might be out of our price range. Thus, both sides will be looking to negoiate Stockley wants to come - presumably on the money he is on now, and we want him to join within our wage structure. In any event, if we are going to bust the bank for him we don't want to do that right at the start of the summer as then all the other player's agents will want more money too. If we are going to sign ten players this summer if each of them earns an exra £2k a week becasue Stockley has signed for us on Championship wages that's £1m a year - which is, I think. 50% of our normal season ticket revenue. |
