I’ve written off Ronnie now, I think Adkins has too.
We needed a striker to replace Aneke anyway, even more so if Swartz is a non option. This for me is priority.
I’m hoping for a better LB, but I’m not sure if NA sees it as a priority. He thinks Gunter is playing well, and he knows Purrington will be back soon.
Same with back up keeper, I think he will pick up a freebie after the deadline tonight.
Leaving it so late is always risky, especially when other teams come in late as well, with a higher offer.
I hope it’s all under control, and we get what we need, ….we will soon see.

Come on cafc make some very good signings today. SL IF it comes off is good business,a CB that will be a starter IMHO,JS is our main focal point can't see anybody coming in to genuinely challenge him,but a striker on a perm to be in and around him & Challenge CW that would be what I'd be after. |

If Lavelle signs you could say that it’s been a fairly good day along with the signing of Arter.
Could turn out to be very good if we bring in a backup to Jayden and a left back.
I still believe business could of been done earlier in the season though but hopefully we are heading in the right direction on the pitch now.

The big one for me is what happens if Stockley gets injured against Cheltenham. We are in dire straits. Fans on the other site claiming that Elliott Lee is a striker need to give their heads a wobble. Adkins would have to change his whole pattern of play, he banks on JS to hold the ball up with his back to goal & win headers & flick ons. In no way is Lee that sort of player. The situation with Schwartz is absolutely embarrassing & if Davison is our centre forward for 4 months we have no chance. Let’s hope we are getting a striker in the next hour. |
