He clearly has an injury or he would have played how serious who knows ?
A protective boot don’t mean serious injury we seen it before players leaving the ground in these boots yet play the following game and I doubt for one min that he would be be left by the club to basically make his own way own via Ebbsfleet .... there would be a club car waiting for him at Heathrow .
If he is out then it’s a chance for Hamed , Chuks and even Bonne who is a very similar player to Taylor ... if he is out for lengthly spell that will most likely knock any chance of him moving in Jan ?
So we will have to wait and see ...perhaps rest him Saturday anyway not worth risking him if he not 100% .

You don't rest players against teams who will be contesting your own mini-league come the end of the season.
I have seen from one of the more reliable sources that he is out until mid-December but who knows.

My girlfriend works for British Airways, and Lyle was on her flight from Antigua to Gatwick on Monday morning, she says he didn’t look like he was injured, but obviously wouldn’t of been looking out for that. She did say he was enjoying the complimentary Johnnie Walker.

A source of mine which is actually legitimate has confirmed the injury - apparently Lyle himself isn't sure of the length yet though he's been given an estimate of 6w-3m.
Like for like with Hemed. Less impactful of course can't replace that kind of quality easily.

Hopefully Hemed or Aneke will step up to cover his goal scoring, but I wouldn’t expect either of them to replace his work rate in defensive tracking back.
Maybe Bonne on the bench to get a chance to come on and impress.
Either way, if he definitely is injured, it will give everyone the chance to judge how much we miss his performances for us.. I’m still looking forward to it, even if a little less confidently.
