Some of you should be embarrassed even if not ashamed of yourselves ffs give it a rest or we won’t have any members left soon . When will you accept that people are entitled to their own opinions, whether you like and agree or not. You can’t force people to share your views. Read the posts again. She was the one that initially had a go at Royston and then called Elfs out about going to non-league games. |

Taylor right now is the difference between 2nd at 10th. But if we could sell Taylor for £4.5M (what Brentford offered) and we could get Ivan Toney (who we tried to get) from Petersborough for £5M or even £6m, I would make that trade all day long. Toney is 7 years younger, has scored 4 this season, 16 with 7 assists last season, and has huge upside. Taylor, as good as he is, is about 30 years old. Strikers usually peak at age 27, so we are pushing our luck with him. I feel adding Toney would be a good swap for Taylor. I would miss him. But as a long-term move, it would be the wise one. Toney might well be scoring 15-20 goals in 2023 when Taylor is kicking it in retirement. Lyle Taylor would only have 6 months left on his contract in January - no club is going to pay anything like £4m when they can get him for nothing next summer. More negligent contract buffoonery from a rudderless club with no CEO. No CEO and yet we have travelled from 34th in the EFL to 2nd since Meire and KR left with Bows and Gallen taking over. The January window is expensive and there will be several clubs looking for a proven, talented Championship striker, whatever age and contract. The obvious move for CAFC is to find a deal that Lyle and his agent can accept and get it put to bed. Even then we will have bids coming in. And with a massive bid accepted OR Taylor staying put, Royston will still bitch about CAFC 24/7, still talk rubbish about needing a CEO even after Gallen is appointed to the CAFC board. |

Gallen is quoted as saying we can’t keep doing what he managed to pull of this summer, every year. We either need RD to sell (and be realistic about the value of the club) or invest in longer term contracts for our key players so turnover is more manageable for LB, JJ and SG

The article has some positive potential, but let’s not make out that RD is doing anything positive - yet..... Gallen is quoted as saying we can’t keep doing what he managed to pull of this summer, every year. We either need RD to sell (and be realistic about the value of the club) or invest in longer term contracts for our key players so turnover is more manageable for LB, JJ and SG Agree totally. All out of our control so best we enjoy the football! |

Very sad individual.... just for the record LB never gave a figure and would be very stupid to do so in a local paper all he ever said was we are operating on a low budget ... that could mean anything ? if these individuals seriously believe we are only paying 5k a week wages then they really don’t have a clue ... Charlton wage cap is 12k a week ... which is low compared to most championship teams so yes LB was correct .. And a message for Willet who has given himself a self ban of a week .. can you make it a year now your two mates have left .. there’s a good chap |

Rumours flying around that he has been seen in a leg brace and on crutches, injured while on International duty for Montserrat. Now I'm not sure how true these rumours are, all I can throw into the ring is he was still on the pitch in the 91st minute against the Dominican Republic because he got a yellow card.
