So Brums American owners can get Delta Airways as a partner our American owners can only get Larry’s Bar.
Says a lot about the involvement of our American owners who you would of thought have links to major American companies.

They are cutting through Wrexhams midfield at will now….. A midfield containing Dobson and Lee isn't going to frighten too many teams. Unfortunately, Charlton have experience of this. I'd rather them than Docherty and Coventry. As for Berry. What a joke.

If we could get someone like that then maybe we could do the same.

They look like a side full of top half championship players playing in league one…… Have to feel a bit sorry for George he has been given a real runaround tonight with the passing and movement of Brum….and I can’t recall his name being mentioned on commentary at all…. and Lee hasn’t had a kick all evening…… Evidently shows Dobson is nowhere near championship level. He's 2 yards off the pace. Birmingham have just bypassed him all evening. They started to get him ball chasing which let May, Stansfield or Willumsson pick up the empty pocket in the 10 and control the game Personally I haven’t enjoyed watching George chasing shadows all night and throwing in desperate tackles……The fella was superb for us and I will always remember him for that…. WTF was Beilk doing……so unprofessional…. Wrexham are a decent solid outfit, they played the same way up at Bolton and took away a point …..tonight though they played the best side in the league by a country mile…….and as the commentator just said…..they haven’t got to play Birmingham every week….

Wrexham totally outclassed. Every team in this division will be. Embarrassing when we play then with Small, Berry and Docherty in the side. Shite the three of them. Take it from me they'll do us 5 or 6. I'm just shocked how little they have created. I genuinely thought they would give Brum a game.

Certainly wouldn't right of Wrexham on this one game. They've come up against an opponent on the day were much better. It happens.
Sobering room for thought for the rest of League 1 on this performance - Birmingham look the team to beat.

Silly to write off Wrexhan based on them losing to a side who will bounce us all over London and Brum. Bielik is a shithouse. I don’t see anyone writing off Wrexham at all…..they will be top 6 come May……but they were well and truly outclassed tonight by a team who have received the investment to go up through the leagues…..

Well this what you get by spending £20 million to get players in, and we do not even know yet what the wage bill will be. It must not be forgotten that Wrexham have spent more on players than us and probably spend more on wages as well. They should be a top 3 team.

I'm just shocked how little they have created. I genuinely thought they would give Brum a game. Nobdy will give them a game. I dread our upcoming fixtureagainst them. They are a top Championship level side. Wrexham scored early but didn't hold onto it for long enough. Keeper mistake and it was 1-1 and an uphill task from there. Birmingham are a level above this division. They lure you in, don't let you play, they smother you and they will overwhelm plenty of teams this season. They never let Wrexham do what they are good at. A real good homework job, they had everything covered. Wrexham got pulled around a bit and they were forced out of shape all night. I have not seen or heard anyone do that to them for the last three seasons. They were given some of their own medicine tonight but it's just one game. They will give somebody a hiding of their own soon because they score for fun, just not tonight. If people want to be that shallow and come out and say what they are doing after tonight's game then please carry on. Even in defeat their movement was far better than ours at Shrewsbury and their squad is twice what ours is in terms of quality. If that's hard for people to take fair enough but it's coming from somebody who with respect knows far more about them than what most Charlton fans do.

With respect mate I don't think they have, at least not pound for pound over the last three seasons. They have just bought better players than we have. They really haven't spent that much at all. I know they have just signed a lad from WBA for 450k but apart from that they haven't spent much above 300k on a player. Big difference is that their free transfers have been very good playes at this level. Any I have a cheeseburger to eat so back soon.

I’ve always had the opinion that his game is pretty much just that. He runs around jumps into tackles wins you the ball sometimes but also leaves you massively exposed when he goes ball chasing and teams get through him. He is one of them players pulls wool over fans eyes with the few good things he does in games. i.e. making a huge tackle or doing a fancy turn and then it’s very easy to forget about him giving the ball away numerous times in a game or the time he leaves a gapping hole infront of the defence because he’s decided to run 20 yards to double up on a winger.

TBF mate Reading should have beaten them, Walsall nearly beat them and it took a last minute goal for them to beat Wigan…Tonight though they just clicked and showed exactly what 20 million buys you at league one level……Leonard and Dykes on the bench for them is a complete piss take at this level… I agree though they are going to give a few sides a right good hiding if they play at this level every week…..

Reams what’s the deal with Bielik?… I thought it was handbags by quite a few players with McLean also steaming in completely out of control…. Birmingham should have subbed off Bielik before the red…..just like Wrexham subbed off McLean before he could get himself a red card…..poor management that by Davis Bielik played a big part in one of the best past Charlton sides in many years….great memories from my point of view…

It's not about grow up, you just like to slate everything we do, we're 3rd in the table on the same points as these 2, yeah the football isn't pretty, but we're picking up points and that is all that matters I was referring to the same old question that I sick and tired of answering. Hats off to teh fact we are in second place in the league but me personally, I don't think we are anywhere near as good as our league position suggests. Early doors there doesn't seem to be any consistency in teh division but I think once it settles down a bit we'll find our true place in the table which is around the halfway mark. We just don't have enough good footballers.

I love they guy. Don't like hands around throats though which is what it looked like from where I was. Wrexham will beat us on October 26th. Thankfully I'll be in San Francisco that day on holiday before heading down to LA nd San Diego for the Breeders Cup.

If that's too much for some people to accept then so be it but when I'm not watching Charlton I'll be watching Wrexham. That's not supporting two clubs, it's supporting one while occasionally watching another where I have so many memories from when I was a kid. Some people don't get that because they don't want to but that's their problem not mine.
