Nobody is touching them this season. Birmingham are merely challenging for the runners-up spot. Nothing to do with this signing. They are unbeatable at home. You score 4, we'll score 5. Hope they do it if only to shut up the clueless contingent elsewhere.

Best manager outside of the championship bar none.
Totally outstanding what he's done here.
Money doesn't guarantee you success and while they had a L2 squad whan in the National League and a L1 squad while in L2 they really have added very little and those that have come in have found it difficult to get into the side.
The young defender Max Cleworth who I mentioned on here last season will be playing in the EPL within 2 years.
Outstanding defender who clubs will be throwing money at before too long.

Brum have obviously bet big on Stansfield, wonder if Wrexham could go BIG in Jan if they have a sniff of auto's again!!!

They are spending wisely without going overboard. If they go up they will be the wealthiest club outside of the EPL next summer. Huge companies falling over each other to get involved. I know Wayne who runs the Turf pub. He's gone from having a handful of fans in there not long back to being rammed inside and out including the fanzone they have set up outside.

I think there's a difference here between rich owners and a rich club (which is generating lots of it's own income). Wrexham being the latter as it's money going into the club that is the key here. QPR owners might be rich, but it only matters if they are pumping money into the club (not loans). We technically have rich owners but they aren't allowing us to spend millions on players like Birmingham.

Wrexham have created an entirely new “business model” which is self-funding success on the pitch. If they continue to progress up the pyramid their revenues are likely to continue to explode, continuing the virtuous circle. It’s extraordinary.

It has helped that the biggest movie of the year, by a margin, stars the chap that owns the club. Reynolds has been all over the media all summer. I don't know if anyone noticed but Paul Mullin was in the movie as the Welsh Deadpool.

Reynolds and his other half , can never remember his name , have a combined net worth of around £ 300 million , but have a real passion for Wrexham and football in general . Our investors are worth more than ten fold of what the Wrexham owners are worth , and see Charlton an opportunity to make even more dollars .

I can assure you it's only a fraction of their own money going into the club. There are big sponsors with deep pockets. They have erected a temporary stand behind one of the goals which is on a totally different levels to Gillingham's and it was increased in capacity a few months ago. Despite it only being there until permission is granted for the new 6500 all seater stand, over 10 American companies put ridiculous bids in for the naming rights, albeit for a season or two. The club shit money.

I think for the most part the hate is down to jealousy. The interesting thing is for all the sponsors, and the increase in turnover that Reynolds and Mcelhenney have brought in, the club still makes a loss year on year. It's hard to break even in football.

To be fair, I'm not sure Wrexham have been playing all that great considering their points return. They're certainly taking their chances though. Not sure if this is a false position for them or if that's an ominious sign for the rest of us.

That have certainly started well and Parkinson certainly knows this league but promoted sides often start well and then fall away so, as SimplyRed would say, let’s see where they are after ten games.

Will be interested to hear your observations/views after the contest Reams. Two of the heavily fancied teams locking horns,May vs Mullin and does Stansfield look CLEARLY a cut above everybody else. Also I highly doubt Reynolds and Macelheney get starstruck themselves often, but if Tom Brady is there they might haha.

Doubt Mullin will start mate, it will be Marriot and Palmer. Can't see Wrexham's owners being there, they very rarely attend away games.

At St Andrews and just want to say, this is how you press teams.
Attack in numbers, defend in numbers.
Don't give teams time on the ball, they shut teams down in a flash.
They can do everything we can't.

Marc Leonard and Lynden Dykes sitting on the bench and can’t get a kick in league one for Birmingham……absolutely ridiculous……League one has gone crazy this season……
The atmosphere is like a championship play off game rather than an early season league one fixture……Beckham showing up with his mate Tom Brady……absolutely crazy……🤣🤣

They can do everything we can't. How many seasons has it taken them to get to this stage though? Surely we have to build a solid foundation which it looks like we are doing and then the rest will hopefully come.
