Makes you wonder if we are looking at Kasey Palmer as I mentioned on the other thread.

The fact this is an open door game (the other ones Potts and Bishop played in were all closed door) might be an issue re which of the triallists are available - I can see some folk not wanting to appear in front of a team's fans if it's uncertain they will sign. |

Potts may have gotten a better offer? I’m hoping he still joins. |

When palmer was in our academy He would’ve work with Nathan jones directly Also Belive Paul hart was academy director at the same time. Jamaica FA links aswell Also he’s a lock boy, lewisham I Belive Would certainly give us quality in the attacking mid spot we need |

Godden was down for a while as he head butted the back of one of their defenders after a good move from us. Quality pass from Coventry into Docherty

Berry is getting forward a lot. Playing in the 10 role and being just behind Godden and Aneke. Some nice link up play between them.
Godden had a nice chance but volleyed over. Ball was always rising so not easy

We're ok in midfield, but that's about it at the moment, I know it's early days, but I was hoping for much more from Berry and Docherty. Docherty for me plays too far right so not leaving a lot of space for the RWB, although in fairness he did play a lovely ball for Watson to send in that led to Godden's header. Hope I'm totally wrong, but just not sure how strong we are in midfield at the moment |

HT 0-0 Good work out in the 45 mins Wimbledon made it difficult for us which you would expect .. think defence has done well Edwards and Watson have done very well .. midfield looks impressive , but I think Aneke not really at it today so it’s breaking down when he involved .. but no injuries that’s the main thing

Godden doesn't stop moving around, he's everywhere which is why I said NJ chose to sell Alfie and bring in Godden.
He does far more work outside of the box and is much better at it than Alfie.

Your central midfield needs 10 goals coming from it and I can't see anywhere near that. Been saying this same thing for ages now, not enough goals from the middle of the park yet with our recruitment…..too much aerial ball today….when we ping it around into feet we look decent |

Ahadme not holding the ball up well atm. Looks a bit off the pace to me. Let’s the defender get the foot in.
Coventry needs to learn to turn on the ball (when he can). Seems to pass straight back to defenders too much. Sometimes not his fault as he has too many around him but others times he needs to know what’s around him.
