Southgate needs to go - palace prick ! England's most successful manager. Another semi to add to his collection, with another tilt at a second final. I really struggle to understand why England hate being successful.

Just to add to that it would be good to win a game in 90 minutes 👍🏻 Already did that against Serbia Since then we’ve had a score draw, a goalless draw, an extra time win and a penalty shoot-out win Variety is the spice of life

I thought first half we played ok, Bellingham and Saka alot better but the tactics still not right.
Second half Switzerland deserved it, they created the better chances.
Great shootout though and celebrated it down the pub.
Southgate has been very lucky with the draws in his time, and the Germany game in 2020 was the only game where we have beat someone decent.
I'm still not a Southgate fan but will support the team regardless.

Just to add to this, we'll done Ezri Konsa, for his first start in such a big game he was immense!.

We looks if we are playing walking football at times. The Netherlands/Turkey game was much more to my taste - passionate and attacking football from both teams.

Glad we are playing the Netherlands. I think the Turks would have been a bigger threat to us reaching the final. The Dutch will be a big step up but we know a lot more about their style and game play. Fingers crossed for Wednesday.

Southgate needs to go - palace prick ! England's most successful manager. Another semi to add to his collection, with another tilt at a second final. I really struggle to understand why England hate being successful. I know what you mean, but I think it’s much more about outcomes versus expectations than not wishing to be successful. Notwithstanding the rhetoric to the contrary, English fans expect to win and then want something or someone to blame when we don’t. While there’s an element of arrogance involved, it’s not unreasonable to expect England to do well in international tournaments. We ought to be stronger than most countries. Take last night as an example. How many of Switzerland’s players would get into England’s team? Akanji, probably, Xhaka, perhaps, Sommer, maybe but probably not. Despite being very disappointing and ‘underperforming’ in most tournaments since 1966, England have typically been knocked out by one of the ‘big’ countries, and often on penalties. While there have been obvious exceptions, like Iceland in 2016, we’ve usually progressed when playing ‘small’ countries. Given this background there is a very definite sense that Southgate’s teams have progressed, without being convincing, largely because we’ve enjoyed very favourable draws, avoiding strong teams before being knocked out the first time we face one. England could now win Euro ‘24 and Southgate will no doubt be lauded for that achievement, but I suspect many fans will believe that we’ll have won our first major tournament since 1966 despite him not because of him, while hoping that a new head coach is appointed who will be capable of getting the best out of what by 2026 could be a truly exceptional group of players. I accept that may be very unfair.

[br Not unfair at all , I don’t think Southgate gets the best out of our midfield and strikers - probably because he’s of a defensive mindset , we may well stutter and stumble to the final and win but it’ll be down to players talent rather than Southgate’s tactics

20s before Bellingham scores equalizer vs Slovakia I place a 800/1 bet which I won. Later that night I had 4-1 correct for Spain. 60s before Watkins scores today I place a 22/1 bet on England.
England been good to me this Euros!
And congratulations with another final.
