Controversial but I enjoyed the Millwall one. It certainly made the players compete. Unlikely to happen again though as we want to avoid challenges. I'd rather play tougher opponents that aren't going to try and wipe out / injure one of our players. Like what happened to Miles. |

What's the chances of a mini tour in the US ? particularly as our majority shareholders are the Americans. Good way of promoting the brand maybe.

Jones would have them running up and down hills all day in Torquay I think if he had his choice 😀
We were so unfit early season last year compared to other teams it was embarrassing….players were out on their feet after 70 minutes 😳

I also think it must have been, partially, responsible for the run of late goals conceded during Appleton's time in charge. |

I would go as far as to say that, in that game, it had been obvious that Asiimwe needed to come off several minutes before that goal was scored. Taking him off just after he was responsible for a goal was criminal for such a young player. |

To be fair to Dean Holden, he was manager during a turbulent time with a takeover delayed by Sandgaard. But let's not forget that it was Holden who chose to go off piste playing 3-5-2 when we had no wing backs and only one fit striker. Our defense was shambolic! This summer we will have Jones and Dr Abbott overseeing our pre season friendlies and fitness programme. Ideally we won't see a repeat of last July / August. |

In all probability you are right but It is where newly promoted Wrexham’s American/ Canadian owners are taking them, may be we should dream big for a change. |

Don't know about the others but Maribor have been in the champions league in recent years, so no Welling!!!
