Looks a decent little shot stopper, 6ft3 so not short but quite lean, hopefully he can command his box - that's the one thing I always hated about the AMB/Isted combination is you always look like you're about to concede from any set piece. Mannion ticks that box but bigger keepers generally are poorer shot stoppers. Hein would give us both options which I like for balance. |

Danny Hylton hasn’t scored a competitive goal since 2022. He scored 0 in 30 Games for Northampton. Surely there’s better options out there? Not for a short term contract and someone Jones knows very well and trusts |

I’ve got a feeling if we announce the GK on loan from Arsenal, we will back that up with Potts as well, as I’m sure the wage will be a lot less than what we offered out to begovic
I’m glad we missed out to be honest wasn’t super keen on that one

Fully established International so that's great for us. I think this means we have three now so our games will be postponed on international weekends!

That would be an unreal signing for us…..When was the last time we had a 6ft 4 international keeper between our sticks……
Get him and Potts signed up and we will be ready to go defensively……
Arsenal fans that I know rate him highly and can’t quite believe he is coming to us….

I think Steve put a cryptic post up on CL that Weststand accredited him with it on here like most people should when they share somebody else's information, and from that weststand guessed who it might be and put the players name up on here which was a great call. As you say though who cares where it comes from, we all want things to happen and it's nice when a rumour materialises into reality. I'm all for sharing material from other forums just as long as the source is credited on here unless of course they wish to remain anonymous. Can't say that happens elsewhere unfortunately. One place I know is like an echo chamber of what gets posted on here, word for word too. |
