Got to be one of our worst run of form in history, last one as bad as this was pardews collapse?.
What ever he tries, the players are not 100% on board with it.
I think they will give him some time with the new players, but if someone like Nathan Jones is available surely we have to snap him up while he's free??.

Micheal Duff is a good young manager or jones for me. Rowett is a good manager, would Curbs come in til summer to shore us up grind some wins out all it needs to stay up then look again in summer.

I have a very strong feeling that he won't be in charge by the time we play Northampton on Tuesday. He can't be. I know for a fact there was a lot more riding on today's game than just the three points. wonder which way we will go, an interim till the end of the season or a full on appointment...and who would be the choice |

Not read the thread so my opinion only but he should have gone 5 games ago. Today we had a strong team out and got beat again. I think that was the worst result all season. The bloke should never, ever have been there in the first place, our dwindling crowd pretty much called it but whoever appointed him in the first place must be saving face at our expense.
Get rid to avoid relegation we can spend a million plus but this clueless journeyman has to go.

I would beg Curbs to take over until the end of the season while the club search for our new manager.
Cannot do know worse than the Clown now and would immediately command respect from every player.
I know he doesn't want it full time but for 4 months could he be tempted?

By the way Appleton coaches his teams it looks like he has never managed a group of players!!! |

Plus he’s seen virtually every game this season so knows the old players and the league very well. He’d hit the ground running for sure. |

I think it's coming to ahead now. The board have a serious decision to make because I can tell you now AMERICANS do not do FAILURE! Appleton needs to be dismissed this week. He is failing as a manager. If he isn't that tells me that the board are failing too in terms of not identifying his complete lack of ability. The Americans will be all over this and I expect change soon. Realistically Reams, who would you think could be a viable successor? Rowett, Duff & Bowyer have been the most mentioned names to date but none seems overly likely, although with the calibre of transfers coming in and still time left in the window, maybe that changes....? Would be very interested in everybody's thoughts as clearly we need change NOW! |
