So we have gone from previously discussing the pros in signing the type of quality of Aaron Collins and Caleb Taylor to both forums mulling over the abilities of a league two fullback, Please forgive my lack of excitement It does remind me of last summer where the leaks suggested that we were going to sign big name players then they went somewhere else. I can’t help but wonder if we, ever, made any real attempt to sign these players or we were just told, through whispers, that we were going to try. It isn’t helped when all the best news comes from ‘sources’ but never seems to happen.

Few rumours flying around on Social Media suggesting that Scott thinks Terry Taylor could be worth a go at Number 10.

Dunno how the Whoscored website calculate their rankings but Ramsay is rated the best right back across the whole of L2 this season (holding that position in their ongoing L2 team of the season).
He's also ranked #28 across all L2 players (in all positions) and has been getting particularly high marks in January (7.5 average vs 7.1 seasonally) so is clearly match fit etc.
Most Harrogate fans online reckon he's been their best player this season. They're currently a point off the play-offs in L2 whilst we're four points above relegation (with most teams below us having games in hand) in L1 so we're at a fairly similar level, like it or not. We're signing their Dobson (albeit in a different position) basically.
I'm pretty happy with this signing personally. Just hope we (at least) bring a number 10 in too.

The signings you make tell youexactly where you are as a club. We have Luis Watson, Bolton have Aaron Collins. We have Lucas Ness, Bolton sign Caleb Taylor. We were in for both I can asure you of that but we lose out to a club in the top six. Tell's it's own story. Alfie May might be the top scorer in L1 but he's well down my list in terms of ability comapred to some of the other top strikers.. Ness was a young player not a signing Ness was signed from Met Police wasn't he?

This is a bit galling, really. We sign him on a massive contract then we loan him back for them to pay a fraction of it.

Good luck Connor, that just leaves us with 16 defensive midfielders now.

Few rumours flying around on Social Media suggesting that Scott thinks Terry Taylor could be worth a go at Number 10. Good luck with that, he is a basic water carrier who can take a free kick…. That’s as much as I saw on the few occasions that I saw him play

Scott wouldn't know his arse from his elbow. As looks likely and we don't get anyone else in, what happened to the money SUPPOSEDLY 😀 available for JCH and Collins? Surely we could have got Smith and Knibbs in from Reading. Failure to get another striker in is gonna cost us dearly, I think

Maybe we have asked about their player that impressed us all, his name escapes me and offered McGrandles as part of the deal. That's mu mind working overtime, I have nothing to suggest that's the case.

Sorensen their right Wing back is quality Reams but we have just brought in the Harrogate lad Why the devil would we want to bring in quality like Sorensen when we can do things cheaper?
