And you can include skint boy Spiegel who has been talking to Bassini in that two. Reynolds buys a house over here to stay in with his family when they attend games while Fraudgaard stays in the Inter-Continental at the clubs expense when he comes over for his five games a season. Both are pathetic in comparison to Deadpool & Rob McElhenney. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-65243122

Bassini can’t keep his mouth shut. Look at him through the Bolton fiasco, when he was apparently interested in us and the drivel leaving his mouth on talkSPORT when he was supposedly involved with the Birmingham takeover.

Both are pathetic in comparison to Deadpool & Rob McElhenney. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-65243122The biggest difference is that it’s much easier, and cheaper, to buy success in non-league. Let’s see what happens if/when Wrexham get into League One. Until then the actors have only managed to get a non-league team on the brink of promotion to the EFL. Let’s also remember that this is their third season of trying. I am, seriously, fed up of seeing those two arseholes all over the media boasting about how clever they are when they have run up multi-million pound losses in a division where the average club’s budget is less than they are paying their strikers.

That name again! Spiegel must not only be desperate, but stupid too! I would take Bassini with a pinch of salt. You'd take the rumour with a pinch of salt or actually take Bassini with a pinch of salt? I'd say the latter should be more like taking a whole salt lake rather than a pinch.

I've got an old record like you.. it just keeps repeating its self... Well done Wrexham you've got 5 times the budget of everyone else in the league and it's taken you 2 attempts to get out the league... well done.with your team full of Charlton rejects you'll go far.... Ps...your stadium only got 3 stands, your stadium only got 3 stands

Once a Charlton fan always a Charlton fan, regardless of the Owners. Wouldn't want to be seen as a turncoat, lets hope Dick Plumb takes over this forum.

Both are pathetic in comparison to Deadpool & Rob McElhenney. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-65243122As you know I detest Sandgaard but let's be fair here, Reynolds and McElhenney have 'invested' millions less than Sandgaard has spent at Charlton. Buying a house (even though it is in Wales - not London) is, probably, a decent investment. Sandgaard could have bought himself a house if he'd been funding a non league club and also Sandgaard runs a company in the US. When Actors are not filming they tend to have a lot more time on their hands so can justify a UK property. When Wrexham owe the two actors over £20m each and the club are losing c. £10m a year, and not winning every week that's when we can judge Reynolds and McElhenney. I, also, suspect that League Two will be a very different proposition and, as we've seen with some of the Swindon players we signed last summer, League One is much tougher, again. If some of the rumours about what Wrexham are paying their players are true they could find themselves with players that are not good enough for the division they are in and are too expensive for all the clubs in the division below them.

Nothing like jumping on the Wrexham bandwagon, never heard them spoke of until the superstar owners took over. Charlton is in my blood like many others on here regardless of our financial situation.

To be fair, Reams’ Dad played for Wrexham over 300 times, as well as being Charlton Assistant Manager for three years. I don’t think you can accuse him of jumping on any bandwagon!

Obviously some don't care to talk about Wrexham, but the fact is that they might have taken over any club. Of course we can all talk down the National League standards and await Wrexham's attempts at League Two. But what the owners have done there is somewhat spectacular when it comes to promoting the club and social media - see the link below. Not only have they multiplied subscribers on all platforms eightfold but Wrexham regularly secure 1M+ views for certain clips. When I saw the missed penalty clip on a couple of hours after the event, that had already achieved 1.5M views! On the footballing side we know it costs at the top of League One plus one wonders how long they might stick with Phil Parkinson. But I'd reserve any judgement until they play at a particular level. Once again the marketing has been spectacular. But I've no idea how that converts to revenue nor whether that will make a dent in losses as the wage bill inevitably grows. In comparison the marketing at CAFC has been all over the place these last few years. But we do know that success on the pitch will always sell out the big games as well as adding at least a couple of thousand to the average gate. www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/2023/february/how-wrexham-afc-has-grown-as-we-mark-the-second-anniversary-of-the-clubs-takeover/#:~:text=On%20the%20first%20anniversary%20of,FA%20Trophy%20Final%20at%20Wembley.

Driving views is a shit ton easier when you have a famous actor owning the club. Rob McElhenney has 1m followers on Twitter and Ryan Reynolds has 21.2m. They both post links to videos about Wrexham. I suspect that much of the interest in the club in the US is driven by the interest in the actors. Just for reference Liverpool FC's official Twitter account only has 23.5m followers.

Agreed, but those aggregate social media numbers are growing at just under 100K per month. Question is whether they can monetise via merchandise and "Wrexham TV". Being Hollywood stars one expect that they will have access to top marketing expertise. But we probably agree that they need to deliver on the pitch to keep going at the rate they've started with.

Jumped on the Wrexham bandwagon?? In what way do you mean? Absolutely clueless and that's even without moving your lips. You have no idea chuck! As part of the Wrexham song goes...History only tells the story. You are worse than that wank stain on 606, Mr Sitter who thinks I should move to Wrexham!!! Wrexham FC have always been in my blood for reason's you'll never understand. Ended up supporting Charlton for 38 years for the very same reason.

Don't really care tbh. But you do care otherwise you wouldn't be posting and reacting like a child. Couldn't care less what you think, never have even when you had that other silly name Jondon!! Actually KHA he played and captained Wrexham for seven seasons, mainly through the European glory years as a Division 3 club when they just lost out to Anderlecht and all their Belgian and Dutch stars in the 1976 Cup-Winners-Cup final. Much to be proud of, in the Wrexham Hall of Fame too.
