Nathan Jones is available! Hasn't worked out for him in the EPL but the job he did at Luton would have to make him a candidate for us but only under a new owner. Not in a month of Sunday’s. He’s not dropping from the Premier League to League One.

Gareth Ainsworth announced as QPR manager. Wycombe set to appoint a replacement too and it isn't Holden!

Gareth Ainsworth announced as QPR manager. How long before Holdens agent links him to Wycombe job?

What Dean Holden needs, as well as a decent contract, is some decent players.

What Dean Holden needs is some sensible financial backing.

From todays Mail.
Oxford United are set to make an approach to Charlton Athletic for manager Dean Holden after they parted company with Karl Robinson. (Mail)
I notice it has gone very quiet on Holden’s contract extension. What a surprise.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear, that there never was a meeting to discuss. I bet I am not the only one, that feels like this..

Holden's agent is working overtime? Assuming you believe Cawley's source.

I wonder if Cawley gets his information from Sandgaard?

I know this might be heresy, but I hope he goes. Anything that just might bring Sandgaard to his senses has to be a good thing.

Just read an article published this morning, stating contract negotiations have stalled 🤣🤣, you can't believe all hou read. i know... I still reckon, Holden will walk after season ends, and we will end up with Hayes.. Who the hell will work under Sandgaard?.

Good news for the team although as Mundell (I think) said him leaving would have put more pressure on Saandgard

Good news for the team although as Mundell (I think) said him leaving would have put more pressure on Saandgard It was me and I’m struggling to believe this is a positive sign. It suggests to me that Thomas Sandgaard is going to plough on. That means retaining management control and, ideally, from his perspective, finding someone to help him with ongoing funding. Such a strategy is likely to prove increasingly challenging and is unlikely to end well. As far as Dean Holden is concerned, he’s just a decent, hard working guy who needs a job - and a contract that pays out when he gets the chop because Sandgaard needs someone else to blame for his own failings. And so it goes on. I’m not usually this cynical.

Decent news but our league position will not progress under him unless he gets the backup he needs!

Not much wrong with having a manager who’s decent and hard working - it’s just everything else concerning how the club is run that isn’t great. I’d have been annoyed if he’d been sacked without a stellar (in relative terms to us as a 3rd tier outfit) appointment in his place so I think I’m turning myself round to being ‘mildly pleased’ at the news.

But maybe the squeeze on the banks will pressurise a sale given that liquidity is drying up and lenders are surely going to pressurise Zynex to reduce its borrowings as distinct from lending additional funds. ST may be squeezed out but will there still be potential purchasers waiting in the wings? Ps maybe this post should be in the takeover thread? 😉
