“I’ve loved my time at the club” - Holden.
Hopefully a slip of the tongue, although I’m aware that Holden had a lengthy meeting with Jim Rodwell in Docklands on Friday afternoon. Personally I see the chances of him staying at 50/50.
Methven says that Thomas Sandgaard (“ a village idiot”) has already got a terrible reputation within the football industry, and it’s difficult out to see the relationship between the fiery Holden and the Danish bullshitter being a fruitful one.
For Sandgaard the best option is always the cheap option, so A.Hayes is very likely to be next in line, regardless of whether he is ready or not (which he isn’t).

Yesterday had the normal feel you get, when all is not well.
The same feeling, my late father use to get, before the days of social media..
Something going on there, followed by announcement manager had left..
I feel Tuesdays trip to FGR, will see us managerless.
I cant for one minute, imagine Holden will get an honest conversation with Sandgaard.
Hope to God, that I am proved wrong...

Yesterday had the normal feel you get, when all is not well. The same feeling, my late father use to get, before the days of social media.. Something going on there, followed by announcement manager had left.. I feel Tuesdays trip to FGR, will see us managerless. I cant for one minute, imagine Holden will get an honest conversation with Sandgaard. Hope to God, that I am proved wrong... We have potential announcements relating to the takeover tomorrow alongside a very careful choice of words by Holden. We'll be watching the FGR game on a stream and it will be interesting to see just how we set out and perform. A massive game and nothing to to do with trying to finish 9th 😀 |

I wonder how the talks went?
TS will fire Holden soon. I can’t see he will want the bastard child of the last dream team hanging around. I also think Hector has done him no favours.

Doubt TS will fire DH quite yet as TS has more pressing issues to contend with.
Keeping DH will at the very least solve an issue, not least with the fanbase who've grown weary of there revolving door of shite. He can also set targets then leave aside and get on with finding extra money/partners/buyers. I doubt even TS is that stupid to not see what he has in front of him, though I might stand corrected on that in time.
Eventually though, DH will be ground down just like the rest of them.

This would sum Sandgaard’s tenure up. The only positives we had were the team brought in with the Methven deal. TS backed out of that as he’s: 1) Been offered more money 2) Thinks he now has a manager and strategy to turn this club around. Or a combination of the two.
However, his pulling out of the deal could now mean he’s lost everything including Holden.
I’m amazed protests haven’t started personally. We need TS gone and soon!

Holden going?. If he does go it will be because of that idiot who believes he knows better than anyone else and won't listen to anyone. I think that if he was given the right players Holden could become one of our better managers.Obviously that's not going to happen. |

It will be a real shame if Sandgaard doesn’t offer Holden a decent contract. He has done well to get us clear of the relegation trap. There is still some way to go to get us safe. He is working with a very ordinary squad, that is putting it kindly. The players seem to like him. We desperately need some stability both off and on the pitch.
