Good going forward according to Lincoln fans, but mostly used in a holding role.

I was referring to the new goalkeeper who you said spend the back end of the season warming the bench. I was putting forward the reasons why. Nothing to do with Egbo. I realized that, and replied: Sorry, you're talking about JoJo. I believe he was dropped because his form dipped massively after international duty. Craig Craig MacGillivray has played 43 games for us and is one of the worst keepers we've had in years. Bit of a moot point really.

Henderson's few outings were torrid.

All our signings so far have been free transfers. Hopefully this means we have money to spend on a star striker. Or our owner does not have the money to spend on buying players out of their contracts, so free agents the only way to go, if that proves correct.

You have signed a decent player and he will do a good job for you.Excellent passer of the ball ,good vision, aggressive when necessary, technically good in tight control spots and is a playmaker who spent much of last season covering the deep holding role whilst Bridcutt was injured. Prior to that injury McG was a more forward midfielder who had more goal scoring opportunities but that all ended when he played a new role and dropped deeper. Last season he was a shining light in an otherwise non existent midfield of young lads who couldn`t tackle their granny and delivered a midfield defensive cover that was reminiscent of the parting of the red sea every time the opposition ran with the ball from halfway.
We won`t replace him with anything better so it`s our loss and your gain. Would have him back in an instant but that`s history.
See you lads and lasses at the Bank.............good luck

You don’t need to be apologetic. I am totally underwhelmed by the Lidl refit that we are getting so far. It’s all about “breaking even” and paring costs to the bone again. The one positive is that Ben Garner seems to be getting players that fit in with his preferred style of play. It just takes a massive leap of imagination to believe that a manager who won 18% of his games at Bristol Rovers is going to get us promoted with free transfers from Rochdale, Swindon & Lincoln. My prediction stands - bad start, Garner gone by October, protests start against Sandgaard the Break Even Maestro. Well I'm going to be a lot more positive Nick! I'll predict that the same Ben Garner, who had a 51% win percentage for Swindon last season (we can all produce facts to suit our narrative!) is still here by October! Fancy a £10 charity bet on it? Make it £20 Alan - money going to the Upbeats ?

Oshilaja couldn’t attack or cross…Egbo comes with a reputation of very attacking and can cross Must have done a lot in his 9 appearances for League Two Swindon to give this impression. For every Swindon fan praising him, there's another fan slating him. Just to be clear I’m not slating any players ! I’m just looking at where they have come from & more importantly what they have done ! re Egbo most pros goto the US to retire.

Seems like you are slating the players to be honest, their pedigree and also the recruitment process.
Can't wait for the egg to start landing on faces.
I have been the club's biggest critic when it comes down to recruitment but one thing I won't do is moan for moaning's sake.
Happy with the new players. Maybe we should have stuck with the likes of Gunter and Watson.
We have signed two captains of other clubs, an International goal keeper and solid L1 player who Lincoln wanted to keep.

The latest addition I agree shows some promise , the others need to prove themselves at this level and more importantly for CAFC ! I'll continue to criticise the recruitment of players until we see an improvement on the pitch, the buck stops with Gallen and Martin.

I try not to look at it mate, he is just a smug prick who loves to be the centre of attention. Has a bigger ego than Frankie Dettori and that's saying something.

I said I was lukewarm with the signing, not as a criticism of the player, more so because I’d hoped to see by now players joining the club with a goal scoring pedigree which Conor doesn’t have. But as reams has said that’s not his job which I accept. I don’t scrutinise other club’s players with a fine tooth comb so I’m more than happy to accept the favourable comments from those that clearly know more than me, so for the record I am pleased we’ve signed another good player that fits in with the style of play Garner wants to implement. You don’t need to be apologetic. I am totally underwhelmed by the Lidl refit that we are getting so far. It’s all about “breaking even” and paring costs to the bone again. The Bristol Rovers "18%" included a period where he had to step away as he had a family member seriously ill in intensive care (think young daughter).

No you have that wrong mate it was Darrell Clarke the manager before Garner went there. Sadly his daughter recently passed away.

Grate isn't a strong enough word, but I totally agree, I'm just trying to be upbeat because things are looking more positive than they have for a long time.

The Bristol Rovers "18%" included a period where he had to step away as he had a family member seriously ill in intensive care (think young daughter). No you have that wrong mate it was Darrell Clarke the manager before Garner went there. Sadly his daughter recently passed away. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/breaking-bristol-rovers-manager-ben-3731279www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/205201-ben-garner-rovers-manager-family-illness/Says it was his daughter who was in intensive care here too... Interesting couple of points too - "the pressure these managers willingly place themselves under to do their jobs should get some admiration. Almost every single football managers job will end in failure and the best most can hope for is delaying that for as long as possible. We tend to forget they are normal people with normal lives away from the game. I hope the family illness is nothing too serious and who ever it is makes a full and complete recovery. " And "Most people don't realise how hard it can be. New manager brought in? You'll probably lose your job. You'll have to relocate to the other side of the country if you do manage to get another job, and then you might only be there for a couple of years before a manager comes in who wants to have his own people around him. Not a career path for the feint hearted." New team, some alleged bad eggs/wrong'uns in the dressing room AND a young child ill and ending up in intensive care. Tough situation... 18% wins. Swindon, own team and players to play the way he wants, lost a penalty shoot out to get to the Play-off final. 51% wins.

Frankie used to be good at his job. What he did on Stradivarius two years running cost him it and rightly so.
