I will never understand why we triggered an extension to his contract. I can't see any of those clubs paying a fee or matching the wages we've signed him up on. If he was going to play then, fair enough, but otherwise I think this is a big mistake. Reports suggest he's not on huge wages Fair enough, but I would have thought that he was on more than League Two wages. |
