Highest match day prices in L1 yet our owner resembles Oliver Twist.

I'm seeing quite a few clubs cancelling players contracts by mutual consent on sky sports. Why can't we do that with Aneke?

Why is it that in every transfer window we resemble a bloke looking for a shag with a fit bird who you have chatted up in a nightclub but having failed to pull you end up with some old trollop who you get chatting to in the kebab shop on the way home!

FFP or whatever it’s called doesn’t appear to be impacting Ipswich & Sheff Wed ?
I see the Usual Suspects on Sandgaard Life are trying to claim Bonne is a higher level player - LOL.
If a loan for a player who couldn’t wait to leave us two years ago really is the best TS & Son can do today , the protests can’t start soon enough.

Presumably the "mutual consent" part More like the pay off part. Buying out his contract is different to terminating it by mutual consent. I’m not sure why he’d want to leave Charlton. Nobody else would be stupid enough to give him a three year deal.

Have we bought anyone in yet ? I wanna run down to the club tonite in my tracksuit and stand behind some unknown tv reporter from sky news jumping ecstatically at the news we signed someone no one else wanted.

This is rather like shopping at tescos at midnight all the yellow sticker goods are gone and all that is on the cut price shelf is a dropped tin of anchovies and a manky cucumber. But like a mug …the souf Londoners loves a bargain …

I still think that it's better not to sign anyone when you can't get your plan A/B/C targets for whatever reason, then to sign just anyone like we've seen in recent windows as they just get a wage, don't contribute anything and possibly block young talents.

Other clubs seem to land their targets and don't dilly dally until the last minute of the last day like we do.
That said, I doubt they have skint, head fucked owners like we do.

Charlton are no longer a club that is attractive to incoming players - hence we are left with crumbs after other clubs have taken the best - what a mess the management are!!

I don’t think we ever bother with the nightclub Reams, we go straight to the kebab shop!

In a way it wouldn't bother me in the slightest not signing anyone because should that be the case Sandgaard, will get dogs abuse and the tide should well and truly turn against him. That said knowing some Charlton fans, they'll still be bowing at his feet.

It still astounds me how so many boycotted games under RD but lionise Pistol Pete … the amount of financial backing is incomparable.

The only person who doesn't want that to happen is the owner obviously.

Good luck to Alex Gilbey. I hope he does well at Stevenage. Always seemed committed when he played, but more of a ‘runner’ than a ‘footballer’ and clearly not well suited to Garnerball. I’m pleased he’s cup tied.
