I hope that's a positive, I still think given the chance he will come good for us in a revamped squad. Could it depend on, whether he wants to make the effort to settle in the South? Just hoping he has now come to terms with the loss of his father and would settle in better away from home. It would also depend on whether we stop playing hoof ball and play to his strenghts, this would also apply to Fraser. No point keeping them if we don't start playing constructive football.

I have some sympathy for the lad. The move happened at completely the wrong time for him and it was a big move geographically. He doesn't seem to have fared any better at Blackpool, so I hope he comes back to us and gives it another go.

I don't see how he fits into a 3-5-2. Frankly it's appaling to think that we signed him for c. £500k and then decided that he doesn't play in a position that we have in out formation. He didn't, exactly fit in the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 that we played with Adkins either. Seriously who was making these decisions?

No point keeping them if we don't start playing constructive football. This is exactly how I see things. There is just no point in signing ‘footballers’ is we’re not going to try to play ‘football’. I despair at the incoherence of our recruitment in recent seasons.

Why did we insert an option to buy clause when we had only just signed him and for various reasons he had not been given time to settle. The other point is we sign a player knowing his strengths and then don't play to them!

The other point is we sign a player knowing his strengths and then don't play to them! Indeed. On the surface, it really doesn’t appear that smart, does it. Options have value so you’d expect to be paid for ‘selling’ one. Did Blackpool do more than pay his wages for a few months? I somehow doubt it. Supposing Kirk had performed extremely well for Blackpool, so much so that relegated Norwich show an interest in buying him. Blackpool exercise the option and pocket the difference? Really? On the other hand, if they don’t rate him, Blackpool send him back. It’s extraordinary that Blackpool appear to be in control. I wonder how long they’ve got to make a decision? What was that about needing a Director of Football?

Kirk should be back at this club playing for a team that wants to play attacking football rather than being in a team that wants to play 5 at the back at home.

If rumour is true he is coming back and will feature in the squad next season. Which means he has gotta stop whinging and whining and accept that people in London won’t talk to you and beer costs more than £5 a pint.

Attempt to negotiate a previously set price tag down? 🥺 What have they got to lose? He doesn't want to come back to us, we don't, really, want him back. In the end we'll do a deal!

Who says we don’t want him back? JJ was the one who played a formation that didn’t fit Kirk. Considering how good CBT has been. Surely we’d be looking to play wingers? I’d have him back!

Reading between the lines from that article, Charlie Kirk still wants to leave us.

Get him back and play him in his proper position with a decent run of games.

Tell Blackpool to go swivel. They are trying to pull a fast one.

Reading between the lines from that article, Charlie Kirk still wants to leave us. He wanted out in January. No reason why that'd be any different now.

If we were to retain him then we desperately need an attacking overlapping left back who would compliment Kirk’s style of play. But as we don’t have a gaffer we don’t know the formation for the coming season … he certainly didn’t fancy the wing back role.

He has to want to give it another go. Maybe would be better now, as getting out of pandemic?.. Only he and the club know, I suppose.

Would like to see him have another chance, but he's got to want it or it's a waste of time and money.

This is a typical modern Blackpool, They are trying to pull our pants down and violate us.
