I honestly can't remember us offering a 4-year deal in many years. Great potential there and while Dale seems to have set the league alight, Charlie has been solid for a few years now. Very good player to have - reminds me of a young Ricky Holmes type.

He might need a little time to settle with regards to his loss. I’m sure the club and supporters will offer him that and all their support

A good signing, and exactly the sort that fits the TS model of buy low to sell high. Let's hope he's the first of a few through the door, and we can start to build a decent squad. He appears to have a great track in L2 and hopefully can continue where he left off in his first full L1 season.
And fair play to him for being able to commit to this given everything else he may be going through.
Look forward to seeing him in a red shirt.

Having watched some clips of Kirk he looks to cut inside more often than not, so suspect his stronger foot is his right. Defenders wary of this seem to show him down the line, which hopefully means plenty of crosses for Stockley. Either way he will turn defenders inside out. A welcome and quality signing.

Yes would agree, his goals, assists etc.. on Utube look really impressive…….but importantly he can cross with quality with his left foot, something we struggled with this last year with Millar……interesting to use Millar as a comparison but on the evidence seen on the clips the biggest differences to seem be that Kirk gets his head up a lot more and is looking to play players in also his decision making in the final third looks far better than Millar….but I am only going by the clips…..Hopefully he will be able recreate this for us 🤞……Welcome to Charlton Charlie..👍👍 |

Another key position for us…left back…we need to get some one similar to the Lincoln left back last season who was young & lightning quick……Purrington is definitely NOT the answer…… |

Thanks for posting auckland, great summary.
The key graphic for me was where it outlines how Kirk puts the ball on the plate for strikers, often assisting within 10 yards to allow for tap ins. I really do think lots of Kirk's game is reliant on a compatent LB. Let's hope that's next on the agenda.
