Sordell joins Colchester ... amazing signing for them I would have had him back, he improved a lot towards the end.

A loan signing that might be signed in time for Tuesday's game is what I have heard. Do not know a name but he is from a premiership club and is a fringe player. The club in question rate him and want him to get some game time.

Hope it is a winger or creative midfield as there are gaps there and they will get game time which is what a loaning club wants.

Both would give us a real chance of the play-offs.

Isn't Bridcutt just another holding player?

Isn't Bridcutt just another holding player? I make you right. Think rossiter is too! If there is even the slightest chance of Pritchard then the club needs to do everything in its power!!!

Before anyone shoots the messenger, I do not claim to be in the know here, but I have heard, from a mutual friend from Sunderland, formed after the play off final, that Adam Johnson is coming to play left wing. I have no idea if he made the squad today or even the 25 man squad, but it does appear a few others on the Sunderland forum are saying the same. Again do not claim to be in the know. Personally, cant see our funds stretching to that, but stranger things have happened. On his day, he I a match winner. Lets also not forget that hs has not been found guilty of anything yet. If an element of truth exists in this, I will be happy.

The prem club is a northern one apparently Texeira was great for Brighton last season and can't get in Liverpool's Europa League squad on a technicality to do with homegrown players that means they can only name 21 players. He is highly rated though and can play LW or no 10.

Broke his leg last season playing for Brentford on loan That seems unlucky. He's had significant injuries each of the last three seasons, I think. He's a pretty slight guy. It's hard to tell what kind of a player he is given so little first team action. I hope he has good luck and shows some of the attributes that folks suggest he has.

The cheapest option is usually the wrong option and I fear this is the case here.
