Hmm... I make it just three of the starting XI (Small, Ramsey and Mitchell) are likely starters for Wigan barring injuries of course. Be interesting to see how long Aneke lasts.

Well whatever setback Chucks had that I was told about, he's obviously got over it pretty quickly!

Perhaps not surprising, but further confirmation of how Jones is going to set up.
Interesting that Ramsey has again started at right centre back. I assume that at some point we’ll see Edwards at left centre back?
Seems to me Jones now has two XI’s that can play this system suggesting that if he wants to add quality/experience it will be on a one in one out basis. And that’s in addition to the structural outs, ie. Fraser and perhaps Ness and others, who will leave even if we don’t add to the squad.

They may have two friendlies todau but this is a very strong Palce line-up we are up against today. The majority of first teamers are playing.

Great goal. I really do hope we can keep him fit this season. What a player he would be if he could put his injury nightmares behind him.
Hopefully he will have benefitted from the new fitness team we have now. If he has then we have a monster of a L1 player back up and running.

I really like how we are playing and Aneke scored a really nice goal. But we are really suffering from our quick decision making Palace are just much quicker in this area just showing the difference between premier league and L1. Their fitness seems a bit lower. Is this there first preseason game?

HT 0-1 …. Very good showing by the boys little bit more composure and we could have had a second … lots of positives to take out that first half .. Aneke Taylor and Bishop just some ..
