It will be interesting to see how this changes as each player comes in to hopefully strengthen the side.
Base your score on the players we have at the moment and don't include who might be coming in and who might he going out.
Not much change for me on last season. 13th
You can all guess again each time we sign a player.

No midfield, no chance. A dull as ditchwater 10th place finish and that’s only if we can get Leaburn off and running sharpish.

Oddschecker has us quite high.
Teams that finished above us last season include: Stevenage, Leyton Orient, Exeter, Bristol Rovers and Northampton. Potentially we'll catch all of those next season, but Reading and Wrexham might finish above us. That lifts us 3 places to 13th.
The bookmakers though place the 3 relegated teams, Bolton and Wrexham as above us, and us about level with Barnsley and Peterborough. Others like Lincoln who had a strong finish last season and Wycombe who also did and have investors too are below us in their odds, but it might be because not many are betting on them.

12th-15th for me at the moment.
Not enough creativity or goals in the team.

Not knowing what transfer business the other clubs have done I find it difficult to make a prediction at this time. One would hope for better times ahead but, although the signings we’ve made are good, there’s still a lot of work to do to improve the team.
Currently I have us mid-table, 10th at best - which is hugely disappointing to say the least.

So far totally underwhelmed by the 'ambition' of the owners and the investment..... In a stronger league than last year as it stands 15th and in reality further decline.

Going to be generous and say 9th atm. We still have some good players at this level and a manager that seems to know what he is doing. Since Jones came in we had top half form and I feel Mitchell and Berry could both prove to be top players.

I think the 4 new players due in on top of Adhadme and Davies must be bloody good if we are to challenge for top 6…….

The bookmakers are basing their assessment on likely relative wage bills. That seems entirely reasonable to me and probably leaves us around 6-8th. Very competitive with everyone outside the top four but perhaps some way behind that leading pack.

I'd suggest that given the change in manager 1st February and change in squad over the last six months, we should forget last season's placing. Instead let's be guided for now by the bookies, so somewhere between 5th and 8th. And let's await the final few signings plus watching the first few games. I'll be very surprised if we're not in or near the top six by end September.

Despite the influx of new players I still think we are missing a statement striker and keeper.
I had us down as 13th a month ago but now I would say we are 7th or 8th.
Don't really want Bishop or Hylton if we can bring in better on loan.

Dopn't really want Bishop orr Hylton if we can bring in better on loan. Back three not strong enough yet, need that experienced leader back their, also not enough quality in depth, if we were to get the keeper and new CB in we would be ok as a first eleven to start on Aug 10 but it is when we start getting injuries that we will suffer, like we do most seasons….. Bishop is a no from me as is Hylton as a player……it feels a bit like the well has run dry in terms on incomings……hope not and we have some more quality to come in

You said we would be top 6 last season…..🤣🤣 We are still well short in depth in the middle of the park, up top as Aneke cannot be relied upon and we have only replaced one of the CB that left last season……

About 8th. Hope for another 3 in GK, CB and ACM all of which should be starters and if they are, comfortably in the top 6.

I'm sticking with my 7th or 8th until we see a couple of marquee signings even if they are loan players.

Our competitors are now sharpening their tools and getting stuck into bringing in the real quality in depth to challenge for both top 2 and top 6…….
If we could play our current best nine players plus the new keeper and CB to come in all season then I would be confident of us being there or there abouts…..but as soon as we get some injuries to key players our back up players are not up to the standard for us to push on IMO……We need more quality to come in…..at present I would see us in around 9th place

The bookies have us as a top eight side, with the top three on evens to make the top six. So five clubs chasing three remaining slots.
We all know that we need a better first choice keeper ASAP. As for midfield, I wouldn't be surprised if they wait to see how pre-season and the first couple of games go before landing final additions.
We're all talking theory right now. After a few games there's still time for loans and perm signings. Then there's 20 games Sept-December before the January window.
Let's hope more fans attend AND the SMT can cut some more commercial deals. For it isn't going to be cheap now to further improve on what have today.
