Speaking as a supporter you always appreciate players showing commitment to recovery, it’s not easy getting muscle and joint injuries back to full health and I doubt I’m only one on here who speaks from experience ?
And I too appreciate the clubs financial investment in sending Miles to a specialist fitness & health centre, I doubt it’s cheap? But he is after all one of our own.

There have been rumours around for a while that Miles has been targeting the U21s in September. A couple of fans on the other place have "confirmed" the ambition of a return to the Matchday 18 in October. We can be sure that Dr Will Abbott and his team will be all over this, ensuring as best they can that Miles hits the ground running. So he'll miss the first nine games but ideally available for the rest of the season. |

Just got a feeling about this, decent bloke, decent family, all love Charlton. A years extention on current contract I would think would suit all parties, give him time to prove his fitness and ability over the rest of the season and attract the right suitors at the seasons end. |

I wonder how we would line up, think Gass and TC have done a job but room for improvement. I'm not sure Jones would want two physical '9s' or if it would just be a case of rotating Gass/Leaburn as we do with the midfield.
