Haven't we had our fair shair of out of contract rubbish who only rock up for a final pay day without wanting to put a shift in? With NJ now the final decision maker on all transfers we will have seen the last of this…..We just need to get rid of the dead wood now…. |

Reading between the lines I can see a mutual agreement to a parting of the ways for between the club and Scotty Fraser. He has every right to stay and see out his contract. He isn't refusing to play for us, instead he's been frozen out. However he is doing this at a risk to his career. If a loan move doesn't materialise for him he will be in danger of being another player that drifts into the footballing wilderness. A mutual parting of the ways would be best for everyone. Amazed none of you sussed me out at the time!! You normally do to be honest. |

Disappointed about Fraser (to clarify, disappointed how it turned out). Couple of seasons ago he looked like the exact player we need now. But last year really went south for him (he ironically then went north.... I'll get my coat). A motivated Fraser is who we need. He's clearly not so good luck to him elsewhere. Fraser was an attacking midfielder, so not the same. |

It was always likely that he would go before the close of the window. There was also a fair chance that it would go to the wire before the two parties met in the middle. Only feeding back what I get told.
Has to be right for the club and the player, it's a delicate situation.
He was nearly part of the Josh Edwards deal with him going to Dumferline on-loan but they wanted us to pay the majority of his wages.
Other clubs expressed an interest but at the beginning of this week both parties were in discussions over a mutual termination.
Things change from one day to the next with outgoing players especially those in the last year of the contract who are not getting any game time.
