Excluding Bishop, Potts and No 1 keeper. We seem to have a full squad, apart from young CBs, preferably left footers. But I'd still like to see Richard King, a right footer, because our only pace at the back is Mitchell , REG (too small) and FBs out of position. Dixon looks a very exciting prospect……still no news on Bishop signing…..still think we are hedging our bets and waiting on answers for other options before we offer him a deal…….. Who is Richard King by the way…..? Good point about Bishop? If he had moved on to trial/sign elsewhere we would've heard,seen it somewhere? IF NJ feels he can add something then I'm sold,part of the Lincoln side who looked good last season and will know Mitchell. |

Never coming to League One Apparently we were interested in taking Rak-Saki and another Palace player on loan this season, but were told by Palace that nothing would happen till mid July (I guess until Palace had all their ducks lined up and they knew by then who they wanted to retain and who could go out on loan). Well, it’s now the end of July and we haven’t heard anything from the Nigels, so God knows what’s happening. Its a strange one with Rak-Saki. It’s almost as if the Nigels don’t know what to do with him. They put him out on loan with Charlton and he did really well for you, so you’d think the next natural step would be to loan him out to a Championship side this season to improve his game further. Then we all hear that Southampton have put in a £7M bid for him! Palace need to make a decision. If he’s one for their future then they should either play him in their 1st team or loan him out to a Championship side to help him make the step up. If he’s not one for the future then sell him to the highest bidder and be done with him. The poor lad must be at sixes and sevens not knowing where he’s going to play this season. |
