Wrexham haven't spent big really but there's still time. As things stand they are either grossly underestimating what it takes to make the top six or have a few tricks up their sleeve between now and the start of the season. Wrexham have retained most of the players who secured promotion. They have 14 players signed in 2022 and 2023 who are out of contract next summer. They also have a new CEO. Therefore we might expect big changes over the next 12 months. I haven't been following Wrexham's progress but I'm sure that the increased media attention from the US has helped to fund running costs but I'm not sure that the owners have any intention of dropping c. £10m on transfer fees this summer. They must, also, be aware that once in the Championship it is likely to cost them more than double that every season. It is much easier to buy success in the National League and League Two. |

As far as Kanu is concerned, he played half a season as hold up player for little Alfie (not his forté) and the other half playing alongside supposed target man Ladapo, who didnt actually deliver. Rarely did he have chance to feed off Leaburn or Chuks.
Partner him with Ahadme, Miles or ANO big guy and he will score goals. Doesn't need a L2 loan.

Begovic was at Sparrows Lane yesterday apparently. Have you heard that directly or based on social media chatter? The latter started when some random Charlton fan on Twitter posted today that an unnamed goalkeeper was at SL yesterday. Said poster was asked if it was Dillon Phillips and she said no and she wouldn't say who it was. A couple of other Twitter posters then wondered if might have been Begovic. There's no more substance to it than that, unless you've heard differently. |

It would be interesting to know when he started following him. If it was yesterday there might be something in it. One advantage of bringing in a 37 year old keeper with loads of high level experience I guess it the wisdom they can impart to younger keepers. Begovic as #1 and mentoring Mannion and AMB (with Isted offloaded) makes a lot of sense. in that respect. |

The signing of Begovic for me would be fantastic! Whilst distribution is questionable, would provide a hell of experience for our goalkeeping area. Coupled with the signing of Mitchell, I feel we have truly fixed our defensive mistakes from set pieces. Dare I say also, surely Begovic would bring that bit of s**thousery we have missed from goalkeepers over the past few years!

Only reservation is that, looking at player ratings at QPR last season they blamed Begović for quite a few dropped pts…slow feet, poor distribution etc. And was left out at the end of the season..Obviously not the keeper he was. But in Jones we trust 👍 |

Asmir Begovic very very sheepish when asked about Charlton.. Clearly didn't want to say anything.
He also didn't sound at all surprised to be asked. I would say that's sounding pretty likely to happen.

I say that because they can only play 11 at one time and they are on a collision course with a load of players who won't be happy that they are not playing. Disharmony in the dresing room can only be a good thing for their rivals. |

Lots of new players who may take some time getting used to English football. Got a feeling it won’t be as plain sailing as they are expecting. |

He played a key role in our 6-1 win at Dartford and 3-1 win in Slovenia. On your second point, we have Luke Berry who scored better than a goal every two games in the PL last season - how much more creative a midfielder do you want? |

Apologies, should have posted "regularly" concerning Ahadme, but according to records Berry scored 2 in 17 PL games ? Or is that incorrect ?
