The club has announced an on line meeting on Wednesday with the Directors. It’ll be streamed on Charlton TV and the clubs YouTube channel. Charlton TV stated that participants will be able to ask questions via zoom or WhatsApp…. The question will be how sanitised they’ll be, as opposed to the directness and awkwardness….. I suspect that the questions will be tame

Just some ideas..
Why do the SMT believe we are struggling so badly?
What are our biggest weaknesses and how are they going about resolving these?
What are the objectives of the january transfer window?
Why do we have 4 CM's on loan?
Are there going to be any outgoings in January?
Is the a particular way the SMT want Charlton teams to play? Formation, High press, possession based, etc?
What investments / improvements are planned in the next few years? Academy, infrastructure, etc.
Are you now moving the focus to next season? If so, are the SMT and owners concerned that it will likely be a stronger league next year (Wrexham etc coming up and strong teams being relegated from Championship)? Should this happen, will more investment be made available to compete for promotion in a tougher league?
Is Appleton performing as you would expect? Considering we've won 1 in 10, is his job on the line? If not, why not?
What has Appleton achieved since he joined? Where has he done well?

Looking forwards to seeing how this plays out. What a condescending attitude towards a well meaning fan, and coming from a founding member and former Chairperson of CAST. FWIW Kevin, I am participating tonight should I be fortunate enough to catch Charlotte’s eye, and my question will be around the metrics being used to assess Andy Scott’s competency for the role. I will also be providing some stats - and we all know that you love a stat - on his success rate with appointments & signings to date. |
