We should certainly go for Smith and Knibbs which would improve us and weaken them in the relegation battle ahead. And get Jed Steer in and get AMB out on loan.

Problem with Reading at the moment is that they’re in a unfortunate situation so loads of clubs will probably end up looking at their players. We’re not exactly in a inviting position given we’re manager-less and wrong end of the table!

If we managed that it would be one hell of an end to the window. Steer for me is the most important signing, confidence starts from the back and AMB looks like a strong breeze would knock him over. |

How did he sign off the sale of the Valley it’s not his to sell as far as I remember the valley and training ground at sparrows lane still belong to Roland unless I have missed something over the years 🤔 He didn’t, that was ESI. |

I’m not sure what question you are asking sittingbourne11 or how it is relevant to this discussion. You’re right that Roland Duchatelet still owns The Valley and Sparrows Lane. The Football Club has a lease for their use. Technically, Duchatelet never sold these assets. ESI only completed on the purchase of the Football Club. ESI had a legal obligation to buy The Valley and Sparrows Lane, but Thomas Sandgaard negotiated that away when he bought the Football Club from them. |

Reams have you heard anymore about Rio Adebisi? You mentioned that we was interested in him a few weeks back. Or any potential wing-backs? Nothing mate. Not much coming out player wise at all. I said last night they hope to wrap up the manager situation tomorrow at the latest then allow him to get what he can out of what's left of the window. That closes at 11pm on Thursday night. One thing I can't see happening though is a another new manager coming in to have Andy Scott tell him what 'B' list player he's going to sign for him to work with. Our wing backs our shite. Can't cross a ball at one end and can't defend at the other. |

Agree with most of this BB but Watson ( nearly 27 ) and Edun ( nearly 26 ) are hardly young. |

It’s a 5/10 January transfer window so far, when we needed it to be a 9 or a 10.
Absolutely ridiculous to be going into the final day of it without a manager.
Hopefully we are going to shore up the defence in the next 24 hours with 2-3 elite players. I wasn’t over impressed with Gillesphey last week.
Please do not sign any more midfielders…..
