Holden has made the correct calls. Must think Henry worthy of a bit longer, if he decides to stay. Thomas has been mostly solid..

Totally agree Sevenoaks, I think Henry is a long term project who if signs will go out on loan, Not 100% sure about Thomas but maybe he has done enough to be a back up squad player next season Hoping Hector signs and if we can sign a captain and a leader to play along side him the spine of the side will start to get sorted If Hector does sign I think he will be a big big player for us next season

I’m reasonably happy with that. Terrell Thomas is a bit of a surprise but he has played higher up the league pyramid, and Holden has seen more of him in training.
Hector was a no brainier, and Henry has bags of potential so it makes sense.
The biggest news is that we’re released players that many feared we’d have kept.

Yes I think Dobson will stay but I just don’t see him as captain matierial, the whole side lacked leadership this season, which Holden has spoken about bringing in leaders and winners The players leaving, would any get into a top 6 squad, I would very much doubt it Much debate about Morgan on social media, some are saying he will end up playing in a higher standard of football, not sure what games they were watching but I think he will end up at somewhere like Colchester, we shall see m

Lavelle for Innis and Mcgrandles for Morgan. Project break even in true Sandgaard stylie.

Unless Clare wanted to leave think this one a mistake .. he been excellent since he has been with us .. I disagree. None of our managers have fancied him in midfield and Steve Brown had been, somewhat, scathing of his performances at right back. He looked ok at a right sided centre half but that was during a run of poor results. Are you swayed by his great goal and pacy runs down the right flank? They were good but when a right back gets, consistently, made to look poor by third division left wingers he clearly can’t play in that position. Overall he is a utility player that has not, really, been very good at any of the positions he has been asked to play. I’m happy that he has been released, to be honest.

Totally agree, Clare is a midfield player, not fancied to be good enough to play there but instead has filled in at right back and is not a natural or coached right back Think he will end up like Kirk sitting on the bench at somewhere like Burton or Shrewsbury I don’t get this fascination with our supporters looking at our players through rose tinted glasses, same as Morgan and Inniss, I really can’t see the the likes of Derby, Sheff Wed, Barnsley or Pompey coming in for these players………

Morgan and Clare will follow Garner to Colchester. Can see Morgan playing for Gillingham next season (and I reckon he will be “successful” there)

Someone on CL reckons that Harris O'Connor has gone but not on either list. Can anyone clarify? Would be a big loss. Dozen games for Brechin as 18yo.

Problem with losing a player like Inniss is the we’ll now need an aerially dominant beast at the back in order to counter those long ball merchants who tend to batter us. Hector and Ness are good ball players, but not massively physical. Which sums up the whole situation; it doesn’t matter who you let go, so long as you replace them with better. Can we see that happening in the summer window? Right now I’m not so sure.

I have no problem with the released list, they were capable of some good games which often gave us false hope, but in reality as others have said, they are average league one players, which reflects our league position.
I wonder if we will see another transfer window like Chris Powel had in his first full season?.
Fingers crossed 🤞

Bit gutted about Inniss. Think there was definitely a player there! The rest, nah. But to release players 3 players that have played 30+ games each for us last season they must know something decent is coming our way.

Unless Clare wanted to leave think this one a mistake .. he been excellent since he has been with us .. He flatters to deceive … he is capable of really solid performances for up to 10 games per season but then goes brain dead for too many games. We signed him as a midfielder and was soon found out there but he goes to sleep far too often at either right back in a back 4 or as a right sided CB in a back 3. The best yard stick is whether those lot from Southwark would play him if they were a tier 3 club … thought not

Very happy Morgan and Innis have gone.
Innis on his day is a handful, just a shame his head in the clouds 90% of the time.
Would like to take another look at Charlie Kirk.
