A little early, but interested to see how many will renew, wait or even drop out.
Obviously we all want our club to do well next season, but many of us a tad jaded.

If the new additions to the squad are decent players and are sorted early pre-season then I will purchase one.
If the midfield comprises of Dobson Frazer and Morgan and Kilkenny then Sandgaard’s or the new owners can do one.

I'm a sucker for it but while there's a Charlton to support, I'll have a season ticket in my seat. How many games I actually go to depends on what happens of course. If we're this point next year with nothing to play for I'll likely drop off, much like this year.

Never say never , would take some decent signings but LBH it will be the same old crocks, dregs & freebies to replace the crocks, dregs & freebies we all ready have .

Actually none of the above applies to me.
To quote The Who - won’t get fooled again - and that applies to whoever owns the club. Certainly not under the banjo man and I would have to be convinced anyone else had good intentions for the club before making any financial commitment.
So no season ticket for me I’m afraid.

Charlton, for better or worse, are in my blood. So against my better judgement, it's a season ticket for me.

Only 19 votes but early indications that ST sales will almost halve in April / May as up to 3,000 ST holders contemplate holding on until they see what the squad looks like July/ August.
That's £1M less for Sandgaard to count on.

I had a season ticket for over thirty years until this season. I won’t buy another one until Sandgaard leaves, or puts together a squad that is going to challenge for promotion.

It's only 25 but I expect the CASTrust annual survey will report a similar divide, however they phrase the question. Glad I put this up yesterday and that people have participated - see latest news on takeover thread about Spiegel and what might happen next.

ST will be brought as soon as announced There will be a few like you but nowhere near as many as there have been in the past. The sad truth is that the main reason for not buying one is likely to be that people just don’t want to go any more. It’s less of a statement to the ownership or those making the decisions. It’s just stopped being enjoyable. You take a lot of stick on the message boards but that is because you are so polar - you are one of the least critical fans which is why, in this instance, your view is, frankly, pointless.

Everybody's view is valid in terms of their own experience and perspective. Just happens that ever since relegation in 2016 we've ignored early bird discounts, buying in August. And it appears that less than 40% of ST holders will renew April/May.

I've ticked match day only as nearest position for me. But I have not attended a home game all season and don't intend to while the team is shite.
The same will apply again next season if the position is the same which it probably will be. Another summer of frees and loans with no decent budget.

Just saw on Twitter that Bolton have released their season ticket prices. The equivalent seat to the one I have in the East stand is £309. My seat last season was £625, from memory. Almost twice the price. Let’s also not forget that Bolton are in the top six, and could be in the Championship next season.
I know that London is a more expensive part of the world than Bolton but I doubt that Bolton are able to sign the players we want and pay them less than we are offering so I think that’s a fair comparison, personally.

So prices have gone up. The early bird is the same as the late purchase last season. This is what they did last summer.
I don't think this matters too much as the real price is what it will be come the end of August when fans can make a decision based on the squad we have put together.
A couple of decent signings before the 12 May would make these numbers significant but I don't believe that club will announce anything before then.
Clearly 12 May is used for other reasons but it ensures that fans have to make a decision about the discount price before the club do or, more likely, don't bring in the players necessary for fans to want to watch 23 games next season.
As I've said before, if the squad enables us to compete, and we win most home games, I'll, probably, bite the bullet and go to over fifteen games next season, but I'll be paying as I go. However, even if I have to pay £35 a ticket 17 games is still going to be cheaper that a season ticket.

Price increases seem fair. Mine gone up £25 was expecting more. Just need TS to go before 12 May and I'm in.

Club dons excellent keeping the ST prices low .. given the cost of everything … fans can’t moan if they wait and end up paying the higher prices
Shall be applying over the weekend for mine .. excellent value

Rather annoyingly the email from SE7 says, a couple of times, “the club have”…. should it not be HAS?.. who checks this?… It can be either as The Club could be a single entity or a plural collection of 'things / people'. The team wear red or the team wears red. The team has lost or the team have lost.

TS proper intent to compete with a decent squad will increase your sales as if by magic.
No marketing gimmicks needed.
Seriously though, hats off to those who's devotion knows no bounds and will renew instantly.

Havn't been to one home game this season. Will see what squad is for next season but if I go it will be on a match by match basis. Have now got out of the habit of going and have enjoyed doing other things. Can honestly say have not really missed it.

I've locked the poll after just over a week. We can all see a clear 50:50 split between early renewals and holding off until we see the squad / Sandgaard sells up.
Not looked at prices myself but will enjoy the game tomorrow / discuss with the other half.
