Good luck to him. Cant blame him for taking up the chance to move to a premier league side. This is the reality for cafc though. We are a club who produce talented youngsters who may have the chance to play at a higher level. Highly unlikely we will be in the prem anytime soon. Unfortunately our destiny in the immediate future lies with our owner, not looking good! |

I would've liked CW to stay and renew,but that's been and gone sadly. I don't doubt good sources but I really can't see us signing Bostock. I know Sandgaard likes the smokeshow but even he can't spin a 9-goal-a-season striker in Marquis and sicknote Bostock as a step in the right direction. It also doesn't stick to his form of buying young with potential for sell-on. |

This is interesting for a couple of reasons. The first is that Ben Chorley was based in the South-East while Swindon's chief scout and has close contacts at Brighton. This was before becoming DoF. As I understand it despite changing roles he was still active in looking at players from that area. The other point about this is in the space of a couple of weeks the kid has gone from being wanted by Utrecht, Brondby, Bolton and Wycome to the likes of us. If we are signing John Bostock as rumoured it’s a total piss take.
He’s 30 years old, and has just been released by a side relegated to League Two.
He’s already had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus.
Is this really the pool we are fishing in for new players?
Let’s hope that it’s just agent talk, because I don’t see how anyone could defend signing Bostock.
We looked at him 2 years ago when Nimer’s arse was hanging out of his Primark tracksuit.

The Tahvon Campbell story is completely made up. The guy who originally posted in on twitter has admitted he made it up to show how easily rumours spread.... Weird thing to do. People are touchy enough as it is.

Garner not ruling out returning to his old club for a player or two. Hopefully if he can use Davison as bait he'd have done a good job already! I think Louis Reed might be among them.  I also think Jack Payne and Harry McKirdy could be two others on our radar.   |

How that we have a manager in we may finally see some movement on players. Also will help that Mr vanity is over here for the ever so important photo as we can't sign a player without one. But then again we may need to wait until the end of the window to get a bargain or two as we all know how well that worked out for us last season.
