A kid, just what we need. If it goes ok perhaps we can someone decent from Spurs on loan in the Summer. Agree we don't need a kid though.

As long as he fits into the starting 11 and has some quality I don't care if he is in Daycare. But saying that I would sooner them being a permanent signing.

Gallen saying that we are definitely bringing two players in, and possibly three.
With our season over, I’d send Davison, Morgan & Henry out on loan, and release 2/4 of the dead wood (take your pick).
Surely a decision has to be made on Charlie Kirk in January as well.
Any signings in January should be long term youngsters IMO, and the first steps in the Summer rebuild we so badly need. There is no point whatsoever in us signing Eliot Lee.

Surely a decision has to be made on Charlie Kirk in January as well. Are you suggesting we get rid? I'd happy let him go out on loan. He doesn't fit our current system. Imagine he'd like to be up north for the moment. He's a long term investment and one I think will come good. We may change our system and he may get playing again. I'll let JJ make the call.

Agree we need players to go out on loan... But Morgan appears to be playing his way back in to contention. Just want to see another left wing back and striker so we can see how Jackson can shape things up. Not going to name names but a number of players will definitely go this summer plus others in the last chance saloon. There's a real opportunity to "blow the league away" next season!

Still a think big mistake if we let him go on a permanent deal .. if championship sides are interested we need to get the best out of him for Charlton … we know he a good player.

I think we might go in for the Arsenal kid Jules. Wasn't we in for him before but takeover took to long. And he went to Blackpool instead .

He's struggled for Blackpool this season, but given that we've been linked with him for about two years now I think you're right about him being on our shortlist.

If he can't get in the side ahead of Leko, Jayeseimi or CBT then he never will. That is three players we are carrying right there and we afford to add a fourth so get rid of two of those three and keep Kirk and put him in the side or sell him. We have at least 12 players who are not good enough or are just going through the motions. They have to be sold or released.

We won't be selling many but in just four and a half months time there will be a released list that most will agree with. The trick is to extend those we want to keep AND find quality replacements in June / July.

Leko, jayeseimi and CBT are obviously better wing backs than Kirk according to Jackson. Though None of these are wing backs ! The season has been so poor I can’t remember if Kirk has played as a winger in a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1.

We carried Ronnie Schwartz for so long. We need to be firmer with our decisions.

We did not carry him .. he was injured then had major mental health issues .. as a club we look after our players look at JFC should we have sacked him the day after he got injured for the second time ??

Depends what you call a mental health issue. " I wish I hadn't signed and I don't want to play for you" is hardly a mental health issue.

Not a rumour but Joe Benn has 45 in 32 for Littlehampton this season so far. Level six.

You are making stuff up again. He got married at the back end of the Summer then went on honeymoon. In the weeks before he left us he was posting pics of his leisure activities in London & his penchant for new trainers. I know you’d excuse Pol Pot if he had a link to Charlton for you to cheerlead, but try looking at the evidence occasionally.

Again Superb pro, also in good condition, but short term thinking again. Not sure what sort of wage he'd be after or perhaps its a transition into a possible coaching role when he does feel its time. Would prefer the fabled black box to unearth a gem from league 2 that would develop with us.
