If the club goes into administration Nimer and Southall will get, literally, nothing. Besides who would it protect the club from by going into administration. All the players have to be paid in full, as do all other clubs we owe money to, most it the non-playing staff are on furlough, who else does the club owe money to? If they don’t, actually, pay the players then no Tax or NI will be due. Seriously, who is going to force the club in administration? Do you think they care? They have put in nothing and taken out thousands already. And they won't have to invest any more even if they had the resources to do so which they don't. Well they will care if they think they can sell the club for £1m. However, even if they didn’t care there’s nothing in it for them to put the club into administration. I don’t think they are going to put any money in but the business can work money and not be out into administration.

One of the replies to Nixon was 'Is Jenkins waiting to see if the players and staff get paid this month, to see if we get a 12pt deduction this season or next to see if he wants to complete the deal' or words to that effect. Makes sense, but let's see if Nimer has a penny to his name to at least bridge the gap between wages and the sale. He'll easily make that back in profit post-takeover. We are not getting a points deduction

We are not getting a points deduction I don't see how we won't, we're still under investigation and transfer embargo, if we don't pay wages or staff and players, what alternative is there?

Makes sense to me. And not forgetting they have no money anyway so they might not have a choice.

There’s a surprise. He is a crook. He was using us. I don’t think he has even got the cash, another Nimer.

Like I said, he quite rightly wants a clause in the price he is paying. Nobody can be expected to fork out big money on a championship club then end up with a L1 club through no fault of his own. Agree there, considering the grand total of £0 that Nimer has paid for club business - he really shouldn't be greedy. Even Southall managed to fork out £1! I hear that Southall borrowed that quid from tracey leaburn , ponced it off her while at the coffee machine !

Maybe I can buy Bolton Wanderers for £1 and sell it to someone for a million? Even Bassini.
I'll send EFL the accounts of my limited company where I'm director, all kosher, so surely I pass their fitness test.
Would be quite a nice way to make £999,999

He is the front runner but he is an astute businessman. Why would he buy us now when he doesn’t know what division we are in. Also seeing what happens with the wage situation. It’s a case of who blinks first.

It’s a case of who blinks first. I agree with this but he appears to have spent five or so weeks trying to get this over the line without knowing. Also think the wages is a big factor. If they are covered next month and football still looks like restarting then the situation is slot more appealing.

So basically, Jenkins wants it, but wants to wait for the EFL to decide if the season will be played out (a decision probably two weeks away).
In the meantime, the tossers "in charge" right now want a sale quicker as they don't have a pot to piss in, or at least a pot they want to piss in.
