Only major owner exclusive to Ireland is the AGA Khan, the majority of his horses are in France though. No Irish trainer has a string of Arab horses. Main Irish owner/ breeders are Coolmore. I am a rehular at Gilltown and Coolmore mate. Dermot Weld might train or two of the Maktoum horses but that's it. |

I never said it was any of them, I sad there was an ARAB link. In many of my posts on twitter and here I've pointed towards Al Nayhan's as backers, its still a possibility, Zenga's posts also points in that direction. |

What is Panorama ? Jenkins corporation ? I heard that from different sources, the takeover has not finalized yet by Nimer and Jenkins. I heard that some different investors who is we didn't see their names on newspapers; in negotiatons with ESI. It will take a week. We will see the new owner when this talks over. Seems a bit like jumping on the journo bandwagon. Mihail has said Bassini isn't in the frame as far as he's aware so considering Jenkins reportedly has one outstanding issue, I'd say 'not yet complete, but close' is more accurate than 'hangs in the balance'. |

Takeover in the ba.lance Unless I've drastically misunderstood the last two days of the forum, Nimer isn't looking for anything except a new face for this 'consortium' - something that Southall shouldn't have been if he wasn't a complete and utter cretin. Jenkins has very little wealth in footballing terms but does have the knowhow and experience of driving a club forward (possibly using some of the money provided by TN et al). |
