The last signing, should there be one,has to be a striker. Replace striker with the word 'loan'

I still think we need a CB and a Striker. Would be good for deals on a perm basis which would reinforce ESI intentions to move the club forward.

When asked the narrative from MS will be that we will get better value in the summer whilst having both fingers and toes crossed thAt we avoid the bottom three after Leeds away in May.

I’d like Gnanduillet or JCH games are won by strikers we’ve got quality in centre don’t need more midfield men

Transfer Window can only be described as Very Poor.
We’re weaker now than at the start of it with Gallagher going.

Another midfielder!
Think we'll be playing a new system to fit them all in.

Don’t bother. Another loan, poor quality and no better than we already have. The ‘club’ has no cash!

Keeping Lyle was key to this window anything else is a bonus. Davis is a decent player , look how we have been for last few months kids playing with zero experience, this is the type of player we needed with bags of championship experience. The rebuilding starts in the summer .. we hope

The rebuilding starts in the summer .. we hope Losing Connor was a blow, however. We did not replace him at his level of quality. We would have been worse off under Roland but I also think we are less of a team than we were four weeks ago. Leko is a loss too.

For me this transfer window was always going to help us to answer three questions,
1. Will we strengthen the squad and improve our chances of avoiding relegation? I’m not convinced the answer to that question is yes, but let’s be optimistic and assume it is. We’ve still got a better chance of avoiding the drop than Luton, Wigan and Barnsley. It could be close though.
2. Will we begin to build the squad for next season and beyond? Obviously not. That’s disappointing.
3. Are ESI very wealthy or not. I’ve been a bit skeptical from the off. For me the null hypothesis now is that ESI are skint. That they’ll need to raise money to fund next season. This transfer window has reinforced that view.
PS I’m not sure fans realise just how serious the consequences of 3 might be. It’s now desperately important we stay in the Championship. If we get relegated it’s possible ESI will be gone. Really hope I’m wrong about that.

Really hope I’m wrong about that. I can't help but feel rather disheartened after tonight. With reference to the answers to your questions Mundell1, I don't think our chances of survival have improved by any significance. The defensive weaknesses of the squad have not been addressed and presently we are just one injury/suspension away from having no recognised strikers. 2, Clearly the loans we have got in are only a temporary measure, it is most likely that all four players will not be at Charlton in July. I feel that even the owners and maybe LB himself, think that relegation is a distinct possibility and will cut their cloth accordingly, when they know where we will be next season. 3, Good question, there is of course the evidence that McGeady, Greene and Davies would most likely command much higher wages than the vast majority of the present squad, but it is going to take more than loans to make this club competitive in the Championship. That will be the crux of the matter in the summer and will determine what level of investment ESI will put into Charlton. But for right now, based on this past transfer window, this is really little if any better than Roland!

Good window clearly LB has a plan the way he wants to play and a new system ..... Birmingham fans are not happy with Davis going
Well Done to the management team and to the future COYR
