In rotation with bonne that’s one hell of a young lineup that all fancy goals.

Should be a step up on the likes of Igor and Parker, but can he fill Karlan's boots and cut it in the Championship? Time will tell, but he fits the Bowyer mould of (relatively) young, hungry and physical.

Title needs changing. If it doesn't say DONE DEAL then it hasn't really happened.

Question is how does LB see him ... is he a striker partner for Taylor in that case think you can forget Eves ... or does he see him as a number 10 in that case forget about Oztumer??

Decent player, but don’t underestimate Bonne, he is a serious situation and has so much potential

Didn't crawley say we weren't signing Eaves? He's been very bang on so far this close season I think if we don't bring in Oztumer we would be stupid. Need him in more than Eaves now

Chuks Aneke gives his impressions on life at Charlton so far....
After making his debut in Thursday's abandoned friendly against CS Gaz Metan Mediaș, Chuks Aneke has been talking about his time with the club so far.
The new signing turned 26 two days ago and was surprised by the team with a cake for his birthday.
“It was a very nice surprise... I’ve only been here a few days and the lads sorted it out for me and it was good.”
Aneke enjoyed a solid start in his first game for the club, despite the outcome of the match which was abandoned after a the Romanian outfit saw two of their players dismissed for man-handling the referee.
“It was good. Good to be out there, good to get a feel of the ball in a kind of competitive match, it’s been a couple of months now since I played a proper match, so yeah it was good.”
It has been an intense but enjoyable start to his career here at Charlton but he relishes the chance to impress even further in the future.
“That’s what we’re here to do. We want to play football so I can’t wait, let the games roll up!”
Speaking about his time with Lee Bowyer thus far, Aneke said “He’s been good to me on the training pitch, giving me advice of what he wants from me and how he wants me to play, etc., so yeah it’s good.”
Finally Chuks talked about his link-up play with Lyle Taylor and how they both could work well together for the season.
“Lyle’s a good player, I like to pass and feed balls through and he kind of plays off the shoulder so yeah I definitely think there’s a partnership that can be done.”

Yes he made no impact on Saturday which implies he's not a striker. We can only rely on Hemed until Taylor is back unless Bonne is the surprise package.

That's a fair reflection imo. He caused Reading a lot of problems coming from a bit deeper, but was quite ineffective against Brum.
Hamed is the obvious direct replacement for LT, and in a way good to hear that he is not fully up to speed yet. He needs to be more involved than he was on Saturday.

To be fair to him, he hasn’t had a run of games yet to show his best form , but has looked really good in flashes. Maybe we need to find his best position in the team, that will benefit him and us.
Hemed is the senior striker available at the moment, and we need him to get fitter enough to make an impact. Also we need to find out which of the other players gel best with his style of play.
I’m sure LB and the guys will be working hard on that this week.

Problem like said before NO reserve team football to keep up to match fitness ... coming on for 10 mins here and there any player going to be way of what needed .
It’s ridiculous situation ...

Agreed, needs to sort himself quick or will be down the pecking order.
